I just got the kit that ford sells and it looks and sounds great. and not as tinny sounding as the pypes kit.

sounds like you should check the alternator it prob got fried when u spun it that high or its putting in alot more voltage than it should.

I would get a complete axle with 4:10s already installed.. check out newtakeoff.com for gt ones and there under a grand prob about the same u would spend to buy the gears, t lock, and install. Plus its a gt axle so it will be the much stronger 8.8 not the 7.5 like we have, perfect if ur gonna...

the lights are just secured in the housing by turning the socket a 1/4 turn or so. you can unclip the grill by just gently pulling on it while pushing the little tabs in on the clips.

ya u prob did something to the trans running it with no fluid. The nose diving down under hard braking is normal its just weight/momentum transfering cuz ur slamming on the break. The winning sound is normal just your trans i believe and the gears whinning when ur drivin backwards.

thanks ya ive had some be tough or break on my old v8s but i wasnt sure what might cause it. and figured the only part that would break would be the crimped section. but its good to know i dont have to deal with it
