Do you want to see something cool?

That is very cool! I think we are looking at the near future here.

    Glad this happened at home!

I know that you are correct. They did switch a lot of things over in 2001. I'm just saying that I've run the Mobile 1 oil on 5 quarts plus an external supercharger. All on the same engine the 2002- 2004 have.

    Glad this happened at home!

All of you guys have my head spinning! I have a 2001 GT that I bought new. After 10,000 miles, I added a Vortech V2. My manual calls for 5 quarts. I've been giving it only 5 quarts even since the V2. I use only Mobile 1 Synthetic like the warranty on the V2 suggested. And, now, after...

    2002 GT manual transmission help.

Sometime in the winter of 2001 they switched from the T-45 tranny to the 3650. You should have the 3650. I had synthetic oil put in my T45 and highly reccomend it to everyone. It goes into gear smoother even when it's cold out.

    T-45 issues

I would try jacking up the car and takeing a look underneath. That metal on metal sound could be comming from the h-pipe rubbing against something. Also, check the metal bracket that holds up the transmission. My car was making some odd sounds and I found out that I was missing one of the two...

Does anyone know what a Mustang GT "STANG" model is?

I've seen the normal Premium GT's stickered between $28,000 and $29,000 here. Altoona is a small town in Central Pennsylvania where all the good jobs are gone. Performance cars are not the hottest seller here.

Does anyone know what a Mustang GT "STANG" model is?

I agree with you guys. It's probably a one-off custom dealership car. On the big blue and white window sticker it really does say that it was sold to Roush Industries in some city I can't remember. Maybe it was rejected from them, I don't know. I liked the looks of the car. Then I...

Does anyone know what a Mustang GT "STANG" model is?

I was down at the local dealership today. They have a black 2008 Mustang GT Deluxe with aftermarket american racing wheels on it. On the window sticker, it said that the car was sold to Roush Industries. It included a few visual upgrades such as a small body kit, the rims, billet grill...

Professional Products intake plennum vs. Accufab...

Guys, thanks for all the info. I thought about porting out the stocker, but that sounds like a pain in the butt. And, I would still have to add a throttlebody to make it worth while. The only reason I'm interested in upgrading these parts is because I have a powerpipe with a supercharger...

Professional Products intake plennum vs. Accufab...

Ok. Thanks for that advice. I will do that. I just figured, 75mm is 75mm. Why pay $300 more for the same size.

    What is that sound...??

I agree with SaleenGT2001. It happens to a lot of people. Jack the car up, examine the route of the pipes. You will find metal touching metal somewhere. Usually where the pipes go over the rear axle. Loosen your clamps and make an adjustment.

Professional Products intake plennum vs. Accufab...

Hi guys, I was just thinking of purchasing an afermarket intake plennum and throttlebody. Can you guys advise me on what you think is the best setup. I have an AFM power pipe, Vortech V2, and Bassani / Magnaflow exhaust. I think that stock plennum is really robbing me of some extra power...

    AFM Powerpipe Problem. Help.

I understand what you are saying. However, the pipe is curved and you can only push the rubber so far on the curve before it binds up. Then your MAF is too far away to be plugged in, and the air filter would be hitting the ground. So I just cut the connector in half to make it all fit.

    Hood shake at 70+

Guys, try this out... Pop your hood, and look for the two screws with rubber knobs on the top. They are hood adjusters that you can raise up and down to help align your hood. Located to the left and right of your radiator tank. A few weeks ago, I got sick and tired of my hood rubbing up...

    AFM Powerpipe Problem. Help.

Well I finnished installing it tonight. The only way I was able to make this thing fit was to cut the rubber piece that goes between the MAF and the pipe itself. That rubber piece is way to long and would have never worked. Once I cut it down, I was able to install the MAF plug and the IAC...

    Vortech V1 Vs V2

The v1 has straight cut gears which make it very loud. The v2 is the sq and has curved gears that produce less noise. I have a v2. You can hear it nice and clear at idle, and on deceleration. A v1 might get annoying after a while.

    AFM Powerpipe Problem. Help.

I don't have any pics of the pipe tonight. Maybe tomorrow if things go bad again which is what I expect because I still don't see how the IAC is going to reach. By leaving the filter and MAF in the same location with the original Vortech set-up, there is a chance that I can use the coupler...

Used Superchargers? Thoughts & Opinions please.

If it's a 9lb. Vortech Kit like mine, you will need 42lb. injectors and a larger in-tank fuelpump.
