New best times at Woodburn Drags 7/15

Thats a poor 60', but if you could knock that down to about 2.0 you'll be seeing hi 13s. Your suspension isn't helping you either. Other than thats your times are avergage with that 60', traps seem a little low, what was the weather like that day?

    pro 5.0 or steeda tri-ax??

I don't know about the MGW, but having the Pro 5.0 and the triax, I like the Pro 5.0 better. My steeda handle did break on me, but even that aside the Pro 5.0 shifts smoother and just feels better. I would spend more for a 5.0 vs the triax

It depends, are you willing to deal with a harder install and a much harder tranny or clutch swap in the future for a few more ponies?

Help! Car leaking coolant after Steeda UDP installed...

Also check your coolant crossover tube, where it enters your heads. Just let the car run for a while, from the right angle you can easily see if the coolant is exiting there...don't ask why I suggest inpecting this (long story)

    Aeromotive Pump In...Problem NOT Solved

I've done it before, you just test resistasnce between two ports, but you have to test the correct two...hell I don't remember. However, I am pretty cerain this can be found somewhere on Corral.net. Possibly look for posts by Chris98Vobra (I think he was the one who told me how to do so at...

    NOS on a 98 Cobra?

I had a Zex kit jetted at 75hp, I went from 13.6 to 12.97 (103mph to 109mph). I lost my engine, btw, don't know if it was the N20 or not though (spun a bearing)

Car Trouble, please post what you think.

this could be a lot of things, by mods I mean what aftermarket parts do you have? Where are you filling your coolant? You may just want to get an electronic stetho and locate the sound (did you say knock or tick?)

Car Trouble, please post what you think.

Make a cone out of a thin piece of cardboard, put it up to your ear and see if you can isolat where the sound is coming from. Try getting underneath it (put it up on stands), and report what you find. Does the knock increase (faster) with higher rpms? Any mods? Is it a knock or a tick?

    Motor swaps

difference between the two engines, the exhaust cams are different, the crank is cast on the lincoln, different intake. Indy, huh? I just moved to Greenfield (from Fort Wayne). If you got with a DOHC engine youy may need to look into EEC changes of some sort (most likely a chip). Ever...

Check you plugs, that almost sounds like spark blowout. Is the gap of the plugs still at .054?

Hooker LT vs. MAC CC LTs?

I would not buy any MAC headers at all, this is based on a lot of problems with slag still in the tubes when people installed them that many traced right to their engine failures. Take a look at Corral.net and do a search on the topic. Their Quality control seems to be dismal. I have heard...

got a new idea in my head. guys w/ 96-98 s/c'd give me your opinion.

THe 96-98 CObras love boost, they have excellent heads for boost. A stock vortech kit hitting 7-8lbs typically gives you about 400rwhp. You can run at this level and proably another 25+ rwhp pretty reliably. I'd say you'd have to drop $5k in blower, fuel system, gauges, & dyno tune expense...

    IMRC deletes waste of time?

I had them for a while, I think Missouri guy had a good thought, you really need to have a modified intake or some type of power adder to make it worth it. Most cars are better off with them in, IMO. That said I do plan to be rid of them when I get my blower in.
