Good point. Yeah, I did change the gear, but they don't make one for the 3.90's. Got it close, but it's still off a bit.

Mine has 3.90's and it seems to be a nice compromise between acceleration / highway revs. A bit high, but tolerable. Just curious why this isn't a popular choice??

I have an 88 GT that is pretty much all stock...love it. My son has '14 GT, so I understand that will satisfy your need for power. The difference between the Fox and S197 is night and day! Anyway, look forward to your posts and following your YouTube channel.

5k seems fair, especially considering it is a T-Top car. This is assuming it will run after sitting for 2 years.

Looked back through the thread and realized you have 200k+ on the original quadrant. That makes me feel better about the 99k on my original quadrant!! And I'm right with you on the OEM parts. I'm not into mods, I want mine to be as close to OEM as possible. Keep up the great work!

Yeah, it looks like replacement would not be fun. I still have the OEM plastic one and it's 30+ years old, but still functioning properly.
