That's actually dangerous from a bead seat perspective but unto each rider receives their own destiny... The bead seat is designed to mate to a wheel under a common set of angles for a car tire/wheel combo. Stretching that bead seat away from the rim isn't a good thing. I'm not flaming...

I have the fake welds with 4.5" backspacing... I wanted room for my KYB tubular gas-pressurized quads (they provide a bit of torsion effect, unlike the stock quads, which are basically just dampers), and it's barely enough room... They're 275/50R15 DRs... They're flush with the fender lip...

Yeah, the spacer is for the Cobras. They really don't 'need' a spacer with the 245s I have on them, but they look a ton better flush with the fender lips...

If you got a sensor that hooks into your stock O2 sensors, they're about useless except to "guestimate" your A/F at wide open throttle. I don't know what color wire it is, but if you watch the guage, and it goes to mid-way or so (aka: stoichiometric point) when going down the road, and swings...

Summit Star Wheel Weight?... I just purchased two Summit Star 15X8 wheels, w/ 5X4.5 lug pattern, and 4.5" backspacing. I wasn't really concerned about the weight, but curiosity got the best of me. What is the weight of this wheel compared to the Weld Pro-Star in the same width? :shrug...

EGR is OK... I've replaced it in the past for these codes... I get an EGR valve position sensor unexpected position... But the new one is good... I replaced plugs and wires, and the problem now is obviously the tranny... It doesn't run worth crap... It's like the ECU is trying to put lock...

Is there some other feedback in this "limp mode" that the ECU is ignoring, that I'm missing? MAF, O2s, etc?... The only continuous memory codes I get concern the EGR valve, and well, I've had those for 3+ years... So I kinda rule that out...

Ok, so this problem started yesterday. At normal cruising RPM, I lightly accelerate give the car more throttle to maintain RPM going up a hill, and it starts stumbling... I also noticed that the torque converter will unlock and lock at random while this is going on... I had heard that a TPS...

Dunno, I know a guy with a highly modified '99 Cobra with a Procharger who launched at 6K and ran 11.4 @ 121... So yeah, low 11s if the car has a good driver... That guy was putting down a little over 500 RWHP...

Fine, but you're proving exactly what I'm saying... It goes beyond this thread. The other one about the guy who supposedly went 13.2s with his auto is the same way...
