Nice. Mine does not have the rust at all. I also had subframes welded in when it was a 5.0L. I am thinking of swapping the roof skin for a sunroof shin. To bad you don't live here.There is a guy parting out a 86 RS with very little rust.

The OD would blow up on them all the time. I had a A4ld that did it to me. When I took the trans appart the valve body was all gummed up with clutch material and the od band was broken.

I have heard from guys on TF that this is an involved swap to do.Not a simple bolt on job but lots of fab work because the Volvo head is shorter than the Ford 2.3L block.

I would go to the autowreakers and get a fan from a stang.....or upgrade to a Taurus cooling fan.

The car may not start because the inertia switch is tripped. Got to the hatch and push down on the button. Bet she'd fire right up.

Do a complete tune up using Ford OEM parts and gap the plugs properly.If that does not work the start doing compression checks.
