Well, as some of you may remember I blew out 2nd gear on my 3650. I ended up finding a T-56 that a guy had bought and never put in his car and went to work. Install was a pain but after a few days of work my friend and I had it in. Not too shabby for a guy that can't even legally drink. :nice:

If I knew the ratio on your 4th gear I could probably give you an estimate.

I need to get my driveshaft shortened for the T-56 swap and was looking for a good driveshaft shop in SE michigan. Thanks.

The 3650 and the t-56 both use ATF.

Yea, I already have the tranny & bellhousing. I just need to know what I have to do, if anything, other than shorten the driveshaft and set up the reverse lockout switch. I was planning on using my stock clutch, ect as I am pretty much broke after buying the T56. :damnit: Will this work?

I am going to be doing the t-56 swap in my '01 Cobra and need to know what needs to be done other than shortening the driveshaft and wiring up the reverse lockout. Can the stock clutch/clutch fork be used?

As you well know I blew out second gear. Well, I have decided to drain my poor bank account and get a used T-56. Now I know that I would need to shorten my driveshaft 3/4", but would it be possible to just use an '03 driveshaft? (a guy is selling tranny/clutch/flywheel/driveshaft)

well I called another trans repair shop, as the other one hasn't called back yet, and he said I was looking at $1000-1200 if I brought the trans in to him. So I have been thinking that if I can't get the t-56 from my friend, I am going to try and find a used t-56. I found one on ebay that...

My friend has a friend who might be willing to sell me a t-56 for real cheap, and that would be nice. Otherwise, I am too friggin poor. :( The trans repair shop is calling me back in 45 minutes when the trans mech. gets in to give me a ballpark figure. The guy on the phone said it was...

Well, I was coming home from work and off a stop sign I decided to give 'er a little gas, I went to shift into second, missed it, and it didnt just grind and pop it out, it blew my second gear. I believe I blew the syncro on 2nd gear, as the other 4 gears work fine and I can hear no rattling...

Coming up on the first oil change since I got the Cobra and was wondering whether I should go with Royal Purple or Mobil 1. :flag:

Not to mention insurance is cheaper on the '01 Cobra. May not be as much of a factor with you older guys, but for a youngin' like me it makes a huge difference. :nice: Plus I got my Cobra with 6400 miles on it, so it is basically new. :nice:

I think the Maggy cat-back has posted the best gains, though there really isn't that big of a difference between any of them as far as I know.
