What If The Fusion Was Different?

I think if people really want a retro Mustang, there's plenty out there. Roll the dice and go boldly into the future for the next generation. If the new car doesn't look like a version of Mustang a critic just adores, expect them to cry "ugly". If for some reason the car doesn't sell well and...

    New Picture Of 2015 Mustang?

Here's an article I found on Yahoo along with a picture they believe is the 2015 Mustang. I think it looks very sporty. http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2013/08/24/fords-risky-2015-mustang-could-alienate-loyal-fans.aspx Hope I'm not re-posting a picture already seen here.

Simple Engine Mods for 01 GT Vert

Big thumbs up for things like gears & aluminum drive shaft. Also very noticeable mod is sub-frame connectors.

98 mustang surging idle and no power

This is a tough one. If I had to guess under normal circumstances, it sounds like a TPS problem. (Throttle Position Sensor.) Since you just swapped a lot, it is most likely a vacuum leak. Check those little hoses. Something is probably not connected or cracked.

2001 Ford Escort Rough Idle Problem

I bought a work car for an excellent price. Only problem is a rough idle at stops while in DRIVE. IAC has been replaced. New plugs & wires too. Just added injector cleaner to the gas tank. I tossed the K&N and slapped in a new paper filter. Believing that 90% of K&N owners over oil the filter...

    500 Horses!!!!

The one thing I've heard over and over when engines bust at 500rwhp is the connecting rods go south. The advice on a Cobra bottom end sounds like the way to go.

    Headers???

I go with Kooks b/c of the trans service issue. X pipe will give a bit more HP than an H. Don't let the X pie vs. H pipe slow you down as far as a decision goes.

    Oh NOOOOO!!!!!

Yep. A compression test will tell you what you need. But... is your oil fill on the right side too? Maybe...

    Tranny leak

Isn't there a seal on the input shaft? If so, I'd look there. Unfortunately the tranny will have to be removed.

    rear brakes locking up

I don't think brakes are smart enough to know which direction the wheels are moving. It's possible that your calibers are in need of replacement and there is still drag you don't feel when moving forward.

2003 Mustang GT: Directions to change the spark plugs without taking off the fuel rai

I always use a long extension and a swivel. Be sure you maintain that swivel in a least bend position. Make 100% sure you blow out the spark plug wells before removing plugs with compressed air. (Air in a can is fine.) Use a torque wrench to replace.

thinking about nos on my '02 GT

Lots of folks have gone with the 100hp kit, I'd think with the above advice, the 75 would be safe.

New Battery and Low Coolant Light??

I wouldn't want to short or unplug that particular sensor. I'd want to know if my coolant level was low right away.

Looks like it's just out of the box. Nice job!

    Chocolate Milk

Just as an FYI: If you do ever freeze your block, stop for a minute. PUSH the car into a garage. Let the engine slowly warm up by heating it with something like a drop light. Allow it to thaw out for about 3 days before you attempt to start it. Get the garage temp above freezing. Be patient.

4000 and a year, and SD Wheeler gives me this...

Shannon Wheeler used to post here under the user "TheGame". I was one of the few people who got what I paid for back in 2002. IMO, I'd not do business with him again due to the long line of people left holding the bag after he did not produce product after being paid. Many folks here lost a lot...
