Paid $16,000 for mine with 26k miles back in early 2001 from a friend of a friend in NJ. Buy mine now please!! I need to sell it...

pics are too dark, but I've seen them before and they look great, especially the rears which have a deeper dish than the fronts.

    Polished or chrome???

Chrome is practically maintenence free aside from regular washings. Since its clearcoated, keeping them clean is a breeze. I have polished aluminum wheels on my Toyota truck and it absolutely sucks, they stain easy, they pit easy and you can't just wipe them down. Its worth the extra $$ to...

Best way to bring back the shine

I have a few tips you might want to try...without seeing the condition of your paint: 1. Wash your car thoroughly 2. Clay the whole car with ClayMagic or Mother's kit 3. Wash the car again 4. Use a nice polish like Meguiar's #7 or 3M Imperial Hand Glaze, go to Meg's #9 or 3M Swirl Mark...

    clay bar?

True, the lube is not great, but you can use any quick detailing spray or even a 10-1 mix of water and car soap to lube...Its the quality of the bar that should matter most, and Claymagic and Mother's for that matter are both good choices.

    Meguire's Quik Clay Kit?

I've never used it, but have not heard great things. If you want a real winner of a clay kit, go with ClayMagic (Autozone, Wal-mart), I've used this one and was really impressed. I know it gets alot of high marks on Autopia as well. As far as a routine--and rjstaaf will agree here--it is...

Anyone tried the Meguiars Cordless Buffer?

If you really NEED to use a bonnet, then one ought to do. I personally prefer not only removing wax by hand, but applying it that way too. For me, its the polish that really wears me down and can be difficult to remove, so I figured the PC that I just bought will allow for uniform application...

    Mach 460 CD Player SUX

Try replacing just the lower CD player. The one in my '96 was toast (just read CD's while making a clicking noise then spit them out) so I went to car-part.com and got one out of a '99 GT (all interchangeable up to '01) and it plays great! Got it for $100 with a 6 month warranty.

    3.73 or 4.10

If you guys are serious about still having a 1st gear with 4.10's, then I'm definitely going with them. That was my ONLY concern--1st gear traction, though I am about to upgrade to a 285 and 10" rear setup.

Just ordered an 04 Competition Orange Cobra

Anyone who defends dealers like you do must be in that shady profession himself..thank you for admitting it. Perhaps honesty pays and gets repeat customers, but that often does not mean the bottom line for dealers--PROFIT!! How the hell would I honestly sell an '03 Cobra to someone knowing all...
