My 4V runs around 100 psi cold and 60 to 70 hot @ idle, sounds normal. These motor make more oill pressure, probably due to them being OHC? Scott

Check out my web page in my sig. I have a procedure for the wiring harness on a 01 Cobra motor install to a 2K GT. I'm sure the 99 has the same harnes as the 2K. Motor is a direct fit, tranny and all (99 T-45). You will need a chip to run the 4V. I have a JMS. Car runs awsome. Scott

Yeah, I saw those. My GT seats are in better sape then those. I wonder how comfortable they are. I like the Katzkin stuff maybe I could just buy some Corbeau seats with the lowest cost fabric and have them covered by Katzkin. Scott

I like the looks of the Cobra seats and they have all the adjustable hardware, but I wonder on the comfort. They go for as much as $2000.00 for front and backs. I could buy some recaro's or a good aftermarket seat for that price. The only thing I wonder is getting them covered in charcole...

Well my 2K GT isn't a Cobra, but it is Cobra powered. Mine has Dynomax Welded UltraFlows 2.5" with a MAC Prochamber and JBA headers. The sound is great. Gets lots of compliments on the exhaust note. Scott

Does the car have a EGR valve still on it? Try capping it if it does. See if your bucking stops. I know my car is the newer ECC version, but when I swapped in my 4V into a 2K gt I got bucking at around 2K RPM, car ran fine otherwise. I capped my EGR and the bucking went away. Could be a O2...

Thanks, I guess if I can rewire a 01 Cobra harness to hook to a 2k GT, i can do that. I wouldn't think you would though it has all the same gauges jut a diiferent redline on the face. I'll check my Ford service schematics to see if there is a wiring difference. Scott
