Hi Guys, When I turn on my A/C, there is a strong smell but I cannot pinpoint where it is coming from. If I have the A/C on normal, I can smell it in the cabin, but if it is on MAX, then you cannot smell it in the cabin. I don't think there is a freon leak because my A/C is running...

Hi Guys, Here's the deal....every once in a while my fan stops working. Turn the A/C Max on and nothing....However, once I unplug the fan breaker and replug it in... voila! it works again... it looks like there is good connection at the connectors...any ideas...is it just a connector...

Well...we got it off...my friend has a friend of needle-nose vise-grips that open and close "parallel". Got those suckers on there good and it finally broke loose. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the input guys... the brakes are on...but the e-brake cable isn't...at least not yet...think I need to lift some weights first...and then I'll work on pulling the e-brake cable again... hahaha Does your rear brakes make a buzzing sound with the baer kit? I was test driving...

I did disengage the e-brake cable and pulled on it...it stretched a little further, but I still need another inch or so...

Unfortunately, I have been using a line wrench already. I read online that to try and use a pair of vise-grips on the line wrench to give it a tighter fit. I'll be trying that later today..

I'm installing stainless lines on the rear of my car. However, one of the factory lines is frozen and the nut is starting to round. I have sprayed the nut with PB Blaster, but it is not working. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I am installing the Baer 13" rear brake kit on my car (stock caliper). However, my parking brake cable is not long enough to reach the caliper in the new location. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do? Thanks! Kyle

Thanks for the input Hissin50. Yeah, I'm not planning on running the car without the fan breaker, it was just a test to see if the breaker was bad. I'd prefer to not put a manual switch in if I don't have to. So where would the fan switching hysteresis be controlled? Thanks again!

Thanks for all your help guys....Turns out it was the stupid ECT sensor in combination with probably low pressure in A/C lines. I had ruled out the ECT because the fan would turn off and on when the A/C was on... Therefore I thought it was the CCRM because the A/C was independant of the ECT...

88GT460...the A/C stays on the whole time.... I'm thinking my CCRM has crapped out on me...just want to see if any of you might now for sure...don't want to buy a CCRM and find out it is not the problem...although I cannot think of what else it could be..

what does it mean if the code reader doesn't turn the fan on?

Ok....new info....just tried the code reader...fan did not move.... Started the engine and put the A/C on...the fan turns on for a second...then turns off...turns on for a second...and then turns off... Help!

I just installed the Maximum Motorsports clutch pedal height adjuster. The pedal height seems perfect. It is a little lower than the brake pedal. However, after I start the car, I cannot get it into gear.... My firewall adjuster is backed out almost all the way.. Any ideas?
