    Cometic Head Gaskets LEAKING!

You can get the TFS bushings in a 20 pack for $31 from Summit. That should save you $51 compared to ARP. I'm not sure why ARP wants $41 for 10?

    Cometic Head Gaskets LEAKING!

If you want the complete set with the head studs AND the step washers I believe the correct ARP part # is 154-4005. I believe you can buy just the washers from ARP, but I'm not sure on the part number. (I'm pretty sure the washers that TFS sells are made by ARP)

    Cometic Head Gaskets LEAKING!

No, they don't go all the way through. I'd say they go about 1/2" deep, maybe a little less. They basically just reduce the 1/2" hole down to 7/16"

    Cometic Head Gaskets LEAKING!

ETA: Here is a link for the bushings I'm talking about. I did use ARP studs and bushings with mine, and they came with the bushings in the kit, just a different part# http://www.trickflow.com/partdetail.asp?part=TFS%2D51400419&autoview=sku

    Cometic Head Gaskets LEAKING!

You can still use studs with your heads if you decide to switch over. My Eddys also have the 1/2 head bolt holes. You just need the step washers / inserts that fit inside the holes in the cylinder head. I don't think it has been mentioned, but did you use thread sealant on the short head bolts?

where to start? - T5 upgrades

Have you looked into a G-Force gear set? They are a bit expensive, but will hold up to most anything you throw at it. 450hp + slicks = blown third gear on a stock T5. Check these guys out if you haven't already...

    Cometic Head Gaskets LEAKING!

I have Cometics on my car and I've had zero problems thus far. I'm actually on my second set because I didn't want to try and re-use them when I replaced my short block. Did you used head bolts or studs? I used ARP studs with mine, as I wanted to get the best seal possible for use with my...

ko600 and speedometer gears - odometer and speedomoter not working

Try attaching a cordless drill to the trans end of the speedo cable. Run the drill and see if your speedo works. If it doesn't, then you most likely have a cable issue. It could also be a bad gear inside of the speedo head itself. If the speedo works when you spin the cable, it could be an...

please tell me its just my guage.

Yeah, you really need to put another guage on it to be sure. The factory guage could very well be correct. Mine did something similar, would drop down to zero, but would shoot back up if I gave it some gas. Turned out that I had almost no oil pressure and a wiped out bottom end.

installed UPR boostmaster pipe, engine runs rough, loads up, pops etc.

When I had a 73mm MAF I had a lot of very similar drivability problems. I switched to a Pro-M 80mm MAF and it's run great ever since. The Vortech / C&L meters just don't work that great with a cam and / or blower.

    Finally goin back together

That probably is the correct clutch disc, not really sure why it isn't working for you though. I'm pretty sure the FRPP disc is made for Ford by Centerforce. I went with a McLeod dual friction disc when I did my TKO 600. Worked fine for me. Have you tried calling Astro Performance to see if...

Question for those of you with a MSD Blaster coil

I had the same issue with my MSD TFI coil. Not only did it buzz, but at night you could actually see the voltage arching between the plastic center portion and surrounding metal piece. I tried a second one, same problem. I ditched it and got a canister-style Blaster 2, no noise after that.
