I have an exhaust leak at the passanger side header near the fire wall. The car is an 86' GT and the headers are BBK ( the cheep shortys ). The shop that found the leak told me the header might be cracked or just the gasket is shot. Do these headers crack often ? I think they're about 5 yrs...

O. K. I changed my throttle body this after noon. I went from a 58mm ( 86' GT ) to a motorsport 65mm. I took it for a test drive and it ran fine. When I got back I wash the car. I also washed the engine. I took it out after that and when I gave it gas it sounded like crap. It sounds like it's...

My fuel pump is whining very loudly. You can't even enjoy the exhaust tone at idle. :lol: Is it on it's way out ? :shrug: I have a 190 BBK pump waiting to go in. Is this to much for a close to stock set up ?

I got suckered into this piece. I bought the kit and it didn't come with that piece. I payed 40 bucks or so, but it looks good and works. You should go to hardware store and just buy some sort of fitting for now.

I have an 86 GT with 120,000 miles on it and it's a 5 speed. It has 3.08 in it now and I was going to change to 3.73. If I'm already spinning bad now with the 3.73 won't I even spin more. I run on street tires and don't plan on running dr's. Will I see lower times at the track? How much ?
