    Which intake on my 331??

I have similar heads to you and would TOTALLY recommend the rpm2 intake......

    throttle body theory??

I'm curious to see what you come up with.. as for the blower guy, in this case I would say the answer is to make sure your intake is all port matched so if the opening of your intake manifold is 75mm then get a 75mm t-body..

    347 into 94 gt

hey Joe we're gonna run into each other a lot about the t-body's eh? :D I'd say at this point go custom cam, they can line up your valve events better than an off the shelf cam... ACTUALLY, on the subject of t-body, who's done the 90mm conversion on an SN95 car?? what was involved...

    Tweecer question about Ede Performer

I'd adjust it to the value used in J4J1 program (5.5), since I'd say the cobra and edelbrock performer are pretty close in all comparisons... I found best results on my rpm2 by setting the value to 5.75

    throttle body theory??

yeah during normal driving it wouldn't affect anything UNLESS your t-body was a restriction and upgrading it caused your MAM to peg out, otherwise, you'll just be upping the MAFV reading, which throws more fuel, ie: normal operation.. :)

Im still Running my stock maf. How much am i losing?

I'd say your MAF is just as much a restriction as your t-body is as is your tune.. I think each could gain you 5rwhp almost equally.. I'd go with the TWEECER but that's just me I'm biased.. good luck !!

    throttle body theory??

ACTUALLY, changing your t-body probably won't mess your idle up as much as changing your Mass-Air Meter... Using my Tweecer there are as many as 6 functions and 1 scalar to change as you change MAM's.. the t-body can be manually adjusted to flow the same MAF voltage as the previous t-body...

    throttle body theory??

hey Joe, okay, good points.. I admit I learned a lot on this thread.. (good thing).. So, how about this question, I have a 393 ready to go in next spring, and I'm going with the 75mm t-body and victor EFI 5.8 manifold.. I guess I'm wondering why I don't port the victor to 80mm and go with...

    throttle body theory??

a mass-air meter does outflow the throttle-body (from what I can gather anyways) ??? my 80mm pro-m flows more than a 80mm accufab t-body.. or am I missing the point?

    throttle body theory??

:) good answer.. the driver for the velocity comes from the vacuum created by the stroke of the piston... My thoughts are that as long as you're all port-matched along the intake route, you should be fine no matter what the opening size is (to a point, you'll never get enough air into a big...

    throttle body theory??

hey how about we talk some throttle body sizes here so we can set the record straight about what size is needed when on an NA car? on a stock car, MAF flows 800 kg/hr or so @ WOT so 800 kg/hr after conversion = 375 cfm... that shows that a 55mm t-body would be okay.. so, another...

    351 under stock 94 hood

well I can tell you this much with the 351W I'm putting in my car this spring I had to go buy a new hood there was no way it was going under the stock hood with a VICTOR EFI intake with a 3/8 spacer.. and definately not with a trickflow box intake w/ 1inch heat spacer.. I'm getting a 2.25...

can i make my performer intake flow up to 6000rpm??

your intake should outflow your heads, and your cam dictates where peak torque comes at .. that's IMHO of course...

    does 1 3/4 hood clear 351W??

how come this related_links guy always posts but never says anything?????????

    does 1 3/4 hood clear 351W??

I have two hood choices here, http://www.steeda.ca/catalogue_product_type.asp?id=530 Will the lower one clear a Victor EFI on 94 Vert motor mounts? I might consider solid drop mounts to drop it that 1/2 inch.. Thoughts? Thanks !

    ANSWER THIS: Tuned w/ chip ~vs~ Tweecer/wideband

Another vote for Tweecer RT, you can change EVERYTHING, and one thing I find with custom tuned chips is that they skimp on certain things in the 2 hour period.. Idle isn't perfected for all weather conditions / AC, etc.. Spark isn't optimized for part-throttle, etc... All items you can tune...

    36 pound injectors, few questions?

well in piecing together my next project (F4TE roller 351W 393 stroker) and I'm trying to figure out my fuel requirements, so far I'm going to use the Tweecer to adjust the slopes to run 36 pound injectors at an almost near stock 40psi, and, and I'll likely have to upgrade my 190lph pump to a...

    almost 12's..

went to the track today, didn't stay all day (mistake) but best of the day was close but not close enough... 1.992 60' 13.2 107 mph how on earth do you guys pull like 1.9 60's on street tires?? I have 555R's which I heat up with at least a 15 second burnout :)

    Confused on exhaust back pressure.

totally, mine too, I went from 186 rwhp to 212 rwhp with a o/r h-pipe and dropped from 15.2 to 14.6, JUST the MAC h-pipe.. :)

    dyno and tweecer results

Hey, the reason I said that (haha) was that they said Hurricane activity would be felt to almost north tip of Michigan, causin cooler wetter weather.. I guess I had a few too many drinks already.. :) (where in Michigan, I was born in Canada just opposite the UP (Soo MI))
