Let me know if you find the radio that goes with the EQ. I am in Georgia. My e-mail is [email protected]. If you find it decide what you want for it and let me know.

9" rearend
I always measured from drum face to drum face and the rearend I was refering to had the spring mounts in the same place as the Mustang and all the angles were the same as well. The only thing I had to change was the parking brake cables as the 1957 Fairlane Stationwagon i robbed my...
1992 radio w/eq
I still need the radio/eq combo. The one in the pic is the same as the NON premium sound option and the wiring harness plugs are different. Mine is the 1992 (a one year only option) AM/FM cassette with the Graphic Equalizer option slaved under the radio.

Check out the pictures of my 65 in the Garages section, Georgia Snake 1 FAST 6. I did much more than you will probably want to. Here is a run down of my mods:
Offenhauser Intake Adapter - Tri Power
3 Autolite 1100 series Carbs (they now make it for Webbers)
Hooker header - Duel...
9" rearend
One fact that has been over looked here. I used a 1957 Fairlane Stationwagon in my 1965 Mustang. It is true it is the narrowest which allows for the use of wider wheels and tires. If the rear is robbed from a stationwagon as mine was you also get much bigger drum brakes than stock...

That may be too much carb. Small block heads have always been a little restrictive but there are ways around that. They like small carbs. The stock 4 barrell was actually slightly less than 600 cfm. To use that much carb I would suggest a split grind cam ie one that has different...
Bell housing
You can opt for an aftermarket scattershield. Check with your local parts stores or speed shop. I have one on my 65 Mustang with a close ratio T-10. That is the safest way to go just in case the clutch ever lets go, I know from experiance. I had one come apart and a piece of the...

I must disagree. The 250 is far better than the 65-66 200. Yes the stroke is a bit shorter on the 200 which does allow for a bit quicker to rev engine but I think we are splitting hairs on that one. The biggest and best difference on the 250 vs the 200 is in the back of the block...

Ok I have done this on my 65 Mustang. First off you need a 250. That will allow you to run any of the V-8 transmissions. Clifford Research is a good source of parts. If you can find one, get a 170 head from an old Falcon. This head has slightly smaller flatter combustion chambers...

Yep I agree a good Tri-Y set is the way to go on a 289/302 in an early Mustang with the H-pipe and whatever low restriction mufflers you like routed out the back.
