Any good tuners in S.E. Michigan??

Greg Banish tuned my car at Livernois. He did a great job. Livernois' customer service does suck though. I knew this from personal experience, so when I called for the tune I would only talk to Greg. The counter guys are downright rude. Greg was great to deal with though. Jay

More snow today. Oh well. On a brighter note, I got my longtubes installed and my tubular k bolted up. Anybody know how to check it for square? And how to square it if it's off? Just trying to keep the thread on top. Jay

    Suspension install

As long as you have a jack and a set of stands it's a piece of cake. I didn't use a spring compressor, some guys do. For the front struts, an air ratchet is handy for the top strut nut. It's not necassary. Do a search for an install write up. Good luck! Jay

No dirt roads for me. I will never buy a house on a dirt road, no matter the price. I don't even drive my stang in the rain. Jay

    3/8 or 1/2 Extension Bar/Swivel for X-Pipe Install?

If you use a swivel, chances are a deep socket won't work. You need more of a medium well socket. That might just be the case if you use 1/2 inch stuff (like i did). On the one nut, the deep socket and the swivel won't fit. If you use 3/8, the deep may fit. Jay

    3650 or not?!

I'm almost positive the T-45 has the drain plug on the side of the tranny. The TR-3650 has the plug on the bottom. 2nd opinion? Confirmation anyone? Jay

I'm lurking around a couple times a week. My post count doesn't show it, but I've been in and out of Stangnet at least every other day for the past 4 years. On an different note, my '01 GT is on jack stands. It's getting: longtubes C&L plenum w/75mm Accufab upr or steeda shifter tubular...

    Suspension guys, please help

Fastredponycar, why wouldn't I buy the struts that are meant for my application? If I chose Illuminas or Bilsteins, I would have ordered Fox struts. But QA1 offers a specific strut for lowered 94+ stangs. They recommended them. Tokico doesn't offer a specific strut for a lowered 94+...

Good idea, how bout a loan?. J/K. Seriously though, I've thought about swapping something else in there. The 2003 part number is for stock ride height 94+. 2002 part number is for 1" lowered. Livernois doesn't show the H2002's. Actually, I was going to buy my struts from them because...

    Suspension guys, please help

I should of mentioned that I tried that. Tried it by hand and with an impact gun. No luck. The nuts don't seem to "torque" down, they get to a spot where they just stop. Jay

    Suspension guys, please help

I recently installed QA1 struts on my '01 GT. I have the H2002 struts that are meant for 1" lowered stangs (I have Steeda springs). Since the install, I have some pretty harsh clunking when I hit certain bumps. Now, these struts are almost 2" shorter than stock when fully extended. When...
