    Suspension You Won't Believe This.....

Agreed, I wouldn't risk the integrity of the front suspension.. I would replace the control arm and bushings.

92 2.3 no spark after ICM replace

When my car had those symtoms it turned out to be the Crank trigger. Its a bit of a pain to replace, but it can be done in a few hours. I would have your new ICM tested, and if its good, i would replace the crank trigger. Dr.

what happens to the vacuum when you go Turbo?

There are check valves in the system to keep vacuum for the stuff that needs it. Mine was originally an N/A car and nothing weird happens when i boost. Of course i let off the gas before i hit the brakes, but i have never notice anything strange. All the Climate control stuff, and the cruise...

want advice for turbo build up

I would start with a Turbo Motor out of an SVO or an old Turbocoupe. And I would NOT run a carb, I would run EFI, probably a standalone such as a megasquirt or something similar. Ported head and header, Big intercooler, TB, and lots of boost. 350 isn't Hard, but its a bomb waiting to go off...

Anyone change oil pressure sending unit???

I just changed the one on my car. Its not that hard if you are willing to remove the upper intake. There is plenty of room if you just remove it. I had to remove it to change out the FPR. So i put a new one on, and without the upper intake its easy. Dr.

Help!! My Climate control is stuck to default (defrost/floor)

I would still guess a vacuum problem, or a bad actuator, but those don't go bad often. Do you have a Mityvac or some kind of vacuum pump you can hook up to the vac feed line and check to see that everything else is working? Dr.

2.3L die out of nowhere while driving

I would guess either the DIS module, or a Crank sensor. When it dies do you still have a fuel pressure? Could also be the fuel pump relay? Dr.

    My 2.3 Progress Thread

very nice, I don't frequent turboford anymore.. just don't have much time it seems.. But I am going to start trying to better my mustang this year. I haven't done anything other then change the oil on my turbo for almost 4 years. I think I need to start playing with it again. I didn't...

    Turbo problem

Do you have a Real boost gauge? I would recommend checking to see if the turbo is actually producing any boost by using a boost gauge. Could be that it is making boost, but is escaping through a hose somewhere. Dr.

Anyone change oil pressure sending unit???

I had one that leaked too, I swapped motors instead of fixing it. I know they are easy to get off when the motor is on a stand. It might be easier to take the upper intake off when changing one In car.. Dr.

    hard to start

check the fuel pressure regulator and make sure it isnt leaking.. the other thought would be your injectors are leaking and bleeding gas into the cyl's. and after it sits overnight the gas leaks down into the pan and the car will start. Does the oil smell like Gas? Dr.

Problem with Door lock selinoid (?)

i dont have a picture, but i can tell you it is attached to a rod with a hooked part on the end of the actuator, and the actuator is Riveted to the latch end of the door a few inchs below the latch. To remove, drill out the rivet, To replace.. thread the hook into the rod, and then rivet it...

    "Crank and No Start" Checklist

What year is it? does it have a Distributor? When my 92 had a crank and no start condition it ended up being the Crank Sensor. Its a pain to change, but i would check it out. No good way to test it, but i if you aren't getting spark it could be that. Dr.
