i just put a new clutch in my svo, and it works fine until it gets into boost, as soon as the boost comes on, it slips like crazy...what the hell would cause this....i would have put this in the 4 cyl. section but there isnt alot of traffic there, and i know alotta of 50 guys are runnin...

that wasnt the prospeed episode, that doesnt air until later and they will be driving an black fox with a hot driver....jus a lil fyi...it is sumtime this month though

good luck doin it, make sure u get your backlash set right or ull have a annoyingly noisy rear end and premature promblems

what causes stiff brakes? Just got my dads car running, converted to carb, and the brakes are so stiff its like not having any at all...the vacuum line is straight from the booster to the provision in the back of the carb...the only thing i can think of is his cam(.577 lift), maybe needing a...

do u hav a good set of valve springs?...if not it could be valve float

yeah, the water pump is reverse rotation and the fan is pretty small...one thing i noticed today though is that both the upper and lower radiator hoses are very stiff when its hot, even after the thermostat is open, kinda weird...and also, thanks everyone

water pumps just your regular stock replacement, therms in right, and the fan is pushing...would it be better to have it pulling? thanks:nice:

well, ive been fighting it for about a year now and have run out of ideas. Motor was just rebuilt around 2000 miles ago, has brand new water pump, 160* thermostat, electric fan, and as of today an alluminum radiator and new cap. I have burped it and even put coolant in with a system that...

nah, no sumped tank, and it is plugged in, i dont have any earthly clue why its not workin. :shrug:

Did your gas gauge quit working...if so, what did you do to fix it, mines just staying pegged at full...thanks in advance :flag:

is it computer controlled? is any of the fuel senging stuff computer controlled?
