    SCT tuner in Western NY

Does anyone know of a good SCT tuner in the Buffalo/Rochester, NY area, preferably with a dyno. It looks like I'll be moving out that way and need to get set up again. I also need to get a re-tune on the car and don't think I can get it done before the move. Thanks; Mike

New 1/4 mile times.. Confused on some

My buddy had an interesting theory about my runs. He said that the runs where I had great 60' times I did not drive the remainder of the 1/4 mile as hard, but there I screwed up the launch I felt I had to make up for the mistake and drove the hell out of the car for the remainder of the 1/4...

Steeda Sport Spring on 99+ Vert? Any problems?

I had them on my 99 GT Vert. I loved them and they handled great but I changed to a drag race suspension. They didn't give me enough squat during launch.

Thanks, I put a lot of time and money into it this year. With the first addition to our family coming I don't think I will be able to spend this much on my car in one year for a very very long time.

    99+ aftermarket valve covers

Go with the Team Breed valve covers. I had them do some custom engraving of the 35th anniversary emblem for an additional $45. These things are awesome. Plus I don't have to have a manufacturers name in big block letters all over my engine.

    Anybody in/around NH??

Interesting. Wonder if they'll be sitting outside New England Dragway writing tickets to anyone racing there for exhaust that is too loud. I would love to see them write ticket to a top fuel dragster. This is totally bogus.

installing shocks / struts, rear CA's etc.. Few ?'s any tips ?

    1) Either rent or buy a spring compression tool from Sears or Autozone. You'll need the McPherson Strut compresstion tool for the front and it will work for the back as well. This will make the springs a lot easier. 2) The uppers aren't that difficult by themselves. However, if you change...
