I wouldn't worry about it too much, I mean obviously get it checked soon if you can, but I know of 3 stangs here in town who have had their service engine soon light on since 10,000 miles. The gas cap light weirded me out too, it went on two weeks ago, and went off on it's own the next day. :shrug:

The install would probably be around $4000-$6000,which isn't cheap. but it can't be that hard, Saleen made a special edition 351 with that body style. So it is possible.

I personally have only run synthetic through my engine since I bought it with 70 miles on it. It's worth the extra money in my eyes.

I'm going to be going down the same road as you in a month. did you get quoted a price yet on the install? I'm a big fan of the subframes and cage, even a full griggs race suspension with the cage(really sweet :nice: ).

If it's an auto, wayyy too big, IMO at least. I personally would only go with 4.10's on an auto. If it's a manual....as its been said many times....DON'T FEAR THE GEAR! lol.

I'm definitely starting to think a full griggs racing drag suspension would def help with my track times too, i've been comparing cars with similar mods that have full suspensions and ones that don't. from what i'm seeing, the clean launch brought forth from the suspension, is really helping...
