Thanks guys, the car is all stock. Plans will be to start off with suspension and brakes, going to take it slow with this one lol I hope at least.

It has been a while since I had come to the site, feels good to be able to be back to stangnet and see what’s going on in the mustang world. Used to have a white 89 and now I picked up another 89 to keep the lightning company in the garage and the daily driver and 03 crown vic

Check the actual canister, I recently replaced mine. After driving my car especially during hot weather I kept getting a weird fuel smell from the engine compartment. Turns out the canister is just to saturated with the fuel vapors. Replaced it and no more smell

Im thinking of installing this kit on my car but i was wondering how it installs? Does it come in pieces or as 2 long tailpipes? How does it install? Thanks for the help.:nice:

I pretty mutch have your same combo, same heads intake, rockers. Im runnign 42lbs injectors 80mm C&L E303 cam with a V2 SQ Vorthec Blower. It was tuned using a diablo sport chip at 442 RWHP and 395 TQ. I went with 225 in tank fuel pump. Im actually moving on to other things so i will be...

We park our cars behind the nissan dealer in the edison power line field so it cant be seen from the street, Next weekend i work is june 6 so ill be driving it. So you you work at the caremore building behind the skate depot? I pass by there alot when test driving cars, Ill keep an eye out :D

Yeah i only drive it on the weekends i work, the drive is 50 miles each way from work to home. During the week traffic is bad to be stuck in, I work at Cerritos Ford. Where do you work?

I live in Rialto and work in cerritos, I hardly post anymore but come by to visit. I have a White with black trim 89 Lx supercharged 306.

Check the socket itself, I had the retainer nut come loose on mine and caused it to ground out, kept taking out the fuse. Just resecured it and it was good :D
