I saw that one, Harry. He was in Dearborn on Telegraph a couple weeks back. The hood was a metallic color... like a silver/gold. He was parked at some drug store. I was with my mom when I saw it and just yelled.. HOLY ****.. out the window.. about freaked out the ol' lady.

Cool :) The pics I took of the vert with the tops down back in Sept came out blurry as ever. Glad to see another local snag some pics :) I've been following a couple weird looking silver "gt's" in my area. So they are testing some stuff.

Look at my location ;) I'm mayeb 15 mins from AAI and 15 mins from Dearborn. Over at The Mustang Source, I've posted many pics I've taken of the 05. Not sure if the comment was directed at me.. or the original poster for this thread. They are road testing them now. It is very possible...

Yup... it's a pre-production mule. They are in the testing phase. A herd just headed down to Houston a couple days ago. I see vert mules all the time. Saw black on black yesterday.

I drove through AAI yesterday. I was just there a week ago and already there are much much more 05's in the holding lots. The place looks like an airport parking lot. It's insane.

That truck may not being heading towards the dealerships. They might be pre-production ones.. used for photo's... there's a pic floating around of the Legend Lime that has the same mountain background. It's still under discussion. I live like 15 mins from AAI and have taken many pics...

The vert top doesn't fold in like the current ones. Part of it does stick out. Sorry for the crappy blurry pics.. I was stuck in an Escape going the other direction.

Saw them yesterday at the Launch celebration, they were under cover.. atleast 4 of them are in the plant... and 4 of them were out and about. I've got 2 blurry pics of them on the road with the top down... The vert is making it's offical appearance at the NAIAS in 05 and they should be...

Plenty of room. But I'm only 5'1" hahaha.. but everything was in my reach and i could easily shift the car. But from much taller people... I've heard the same response when we were all at the Innovation Drive.

I've followed the vert too... for 50 miles.. without a camera :( d'oh. This was back in April. But drove a manual and automatic 05 GT last month :)

Wouldn't be the first pre-production 05 that has been wrecked. A buddy of an employee took one out for a joy ride about 8am... by 8:30 am the stang was totalled. This happend maybe a month ago.

I wish they still had the Grand Prix there too :( I remember going to them as a kid and how LOUD they were. I was also at the Innovation Drive. Had a blast. "Almost" burnt the clutch on the yellow GT... oopsie :)
