I had to lube mine up really well, but the cheapo actuators have worked for about 4 years now.

I didn't do 3 to 4 either. The local occupational college had an auto upholstery class. They did my front and rear seats and center console. All it costs is the materials and a $5 service fee for each item.

If a prop valve like that is used, is the distribution block still needed? Does this valve contain a check valve if there is a loss of pressure in the front or rear brake lines?

For the gas pedal, look for 87-93 Mustangs with a 5.0, and probably Lincolns as well. I know the Mustang throttle cable is a good length, the Lincoln one might be a bit longer. Does the new fuel tank have an EFI return port? If not you'll have to add one.
