    alignment question

The outside edge of the left front started to wear faster than the right also its been about 30,000 miles since my last one when i got new wheels. Some of our roads aren't the best and i go over r/r tracks twice a day going to work. I figure it sure can't hurt.

    alignment question

I am getting new tires but the tire shop doesn't do alignments. I have to go somewhere else for that. Should i get the tires mounted first or does it matter. I am thinking mount and balance new tires first for a new alignment. Any thoughts? Thanks

    can I wax my wheels?

I have chrome wheels and use #26 carnauba wax from Meguiars. It is just wax, no harshness to damage the finish. Been using it for about 4 years now and NO problems.

    I.A.C. question

I have a silly question -- how does the electrical connection come off. Pull straight off, wiggle it off? I dont want to just yank it and have something break. Thanks ...

    Straight answer please

I have 40's on my car and love the sound and get alot of compliments on how good it sounds. Yes - there is drone but you get used to it and learn to drive around the worse "drone zones". I know guys who hate the drone but thier stereo/bass setting rattles the trunk lid and doors. Go figure...

    Gas ?

In stock tune 87 is just fine, it's what Ford says to use anyway and at the price of gas why spend more if you don't have to. I have been using Hess 87 and car runs fine.

    Problems starting

Good to see i'm not the only one with this problem, my car does the same thing. Not all the time but about every few weeks it will do it. Always starts fine on the second try. I've cleaned the battery terminals and looked at the wires [looks good to me]. I always use a good name gas...

tips to shine and clean black???

I have a black car and use Meguiars NXT tech wax. Does a great job keeping it clean and shinning. Like 98stang said - you have to prep good before the wax. A good paint cleaner will take off most water spots. Good luck. :nice:

Forget the dealer -- just keep up the new car with good washings, cleanings and polish and wax. This will keep your car looking new.

    Service engine soon light

If everything checks out ok you can disconnect the battery cables for about 30 min and hook them back up and that should reset the computor and shut off the light.

    Window problem on convert

I had this very problem on my 2000 vert -- the problem was with the glass, it is held in place with glue - yes, glue. The glue dries out with time and the piece of glass comes loose and that is why it hit the top. They took out the glass, reglued it into the brackets and it's been fine and sits...

How do you tell gear ratio?

I believe it like this -- raise the rear of your car, rotate the rear tire one revolution - watch the driveshaft as it turns. If it turns a little over 3 times you probably have 3.23's -- turns 4 times you could have 4.10's and so on. Hope this helps.
