Met the girl of my dreams today

Fritz, I know you've been through a harrowing weekend (not the ring and all that, I'm talking about the packing and driving to the motel and the "Is there a tub?" stuff); but still, you can't place all that on Dan! We discussed this earlier at the last GCC Executive Board meeting. You WERE...

    The new '66 Coupe

Easiest way to differentiate between an 8" rear chunk and a 9" rear chunk is to try removing the very bottom nuts behind the pinion carrier. If you end up having to use a box-end wrench, CONGRATULATIONS!; you've got a 9" axle. If you can get them with a ratchet/socket.... it's an 8".

    Almost 11 years.....

Hey, HM.... howzitgoin' with the old Effie on the Gran Marquis frame? Been hangin' out on the bumpside forum at FTE.... 15 y.o. son's looking at filing (Okay, I'll be filing) for an abandoned title on a '72 F100. Got a bit to do.... 360's been sitting for about 5 years with no operation...

BBFCM Wishes y'all a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I know, I've been following her posts. Just haven't said much until you had a chance to read it. And it worked, you're on here. :D

    Possible Trans-Continental Closet meeting?

And I live in the Colorado River floodplain; right at the base of the San Andreas fault. Trying to get this house fixed up to sell so we can get some property with room for a shop and the horses behind the back yard; and "You can scuba dive in your own living room!" doesn't have that much...

BBFCM Wishes y'all a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Right back atcha, Pal! I'm guessing from this early announcement that you may well be in the hosp on that day; so we need to figure out how to sneak in some Internet access. Either that or ask Robin to PM me on Facebook with the number of any available cellphone in your room and I'll call you.

Paint & Body shop NC region

Okay, I've only spent four days in NC, mostly in Fayetteville (but I do know what it's like to sit 7 rows from the fence in the Turn 3/Turn 4 transition at Lowes in Charlotte :D ); so I'm not 100% -or even 75%- on my North Carolina geography. That being said, I've heard lots of good things...

Met the girl of my dreams today

Been meaning to talk to you about taking a shower..... :rlaugh: Still alive, just been working a lot recently. Pretty active with Fritz and Dan on FB; but I don't hear from you too often? There are pictures on FB (and I think here) of my finally meeting with Dan and Deanna a few weeks...

    Whats it worth?

As for the underdash A/C; here's one out of '66 Mustang: Understand that there are now licensed aftermarket reproductions of this underdash unit from companies like Vintage Air that very faithfully copy the original, right down to the Ford "shield" between the two center registers. The...

    My new project! (pics)

Still reading, too. Nice pics, was glad to see even the '68 make an appearance. But, with a name like that, I was hoping to see a '33 Ford "Eliminator" :rlaugh: I can imagine the grin on your face when that engine first rumbled to life and sorted itself out. :nice:

    Possible Trans-Continental Closet meeting?

Nah, but we did manage to trench an extension of The Gutter to the lounge at the Crowne Pointe (is that pronounced "crown-y point-y"?) in Chandler.

Life here on Stangnet back in 2003...

Yes it was, Pak.... threads like this one give us some fantastic memories! For instance, the day 2bav8 closed down this thread, cowgirl tink and I were busily cleaning out the "Royal Horse-Trailer" in preparation for a trip to Payson Arizona for her to perform a Visitation as an out-of-town...

    Possible Trans-Continental Closet meeting?

    Ford reintroduces the 1965 Mustang

Interestingly enough; their Taiwanese major supplier's CEO has a nearly identical name to Dynacorn's CEO. At least their first and last (or last and first, if you're thinking in Asiatic) names are identical. "Family Owned"?

    Ford reintroduces the 1965 Mustang

It's not actually from Ford. The manufacturer is Dynacorn; which produces reproduction parts for many cars over many years, for use in accident and rust repair. Their catalog is so extensive that they just started welding thier own parts together to make complete bodies.... Mustangs from 65 to...

    Ford reintroduces the 1965 Mustang

Along with '73 Cougar exterior sheetmetal. Of course, there's a guy that used to live "down the road" from you (in Galax) and now lives somewhere in Tucson.... that thinks they should work on 67-70 Cougar sheetmetal FIRST.
