Camber Plates vs. Camber Adjustment Bolts

I know I'm not the best at expressing what I was trying to say. I realize that I don't actually want to achieve 0 degrees for driving, I am just worried about being maxed out on the adjustment just to achieve that factory spec. I seems smart to try and leave a little room for adjustment down...

Camber Plates vs. Camber Adjustment Bolts

Yeah, I just went ahead and ordered them. I, too, have the Eibach Camber Adjustment Bolts (came with the springs). I just read up on them and they allow for +/- 1.75 degrees of adjustment. According to the super accurate iPhone level app (if it's good enough for Powerblock's Hot Rod TV, it...

Camber Plates vs. Camber Adjustment Bolts

It hard to tell from the photo, but mine looks a whole lot worse. I chewed through my first set of front tires in just under 10K miles. I am really worried that the adjustment bolts wouldn't be enough adjustment. I can't foresee the need to ever go positive but neutral or at the least less...

Camber Plates vs. Camber Adjustment Bolts

That's exactly what I figured would happen with the bolts being that the lowering springs introduced so much negative camber.

Camber Plates vs. Camber Adjustment Bolts

I am asking this question from a technical stand point and not from a "what's your opinion" stand point. That being said, I am interested in learning from individual experiences with both/either. A little background: My 2007 GT is lowered 1.5" all the way around (FRPP Lowering Springs). I...

Meguiars Leather cleane ruined my seats

I had the same problem with my red seats as well. It wasn't noticeable until the day after when I drove to work. I had red dye on the back of my pants. It only happened after using the cream, the wipes had no effect on the dye.

How many miles on your S197, total and yearly

I've got only 22K on the '07 (bought new 7/07). My excuse is that I was deployed about 6 months out of the year each year that I owned it. Of the 6 months I was home, more half was in the winter and I didn't chance it on the roads. Now that I am further south and not deploying, I would expect...

Alloy Mustang with Torch Red Hood?

I would suggest Redfire Metallic; I don't know about Torch Red, seems too bright IMO. I am actually considering two toning my '69 in Alloy and Redfire because I like my '07 alloy so much.

40 series tires on 20" rims?

What tire were you considering? I haven't seen too many companies offering performance tires in a 40 series that would fit on the rims that you are considering, not on the back anyway. A 245/40-20 like what Nitto offers would work on the front (27.8" tall) and is pretty close to stock...

Auto transport ( shipping ) question

I would vote that you stay away from National Auto Shipping. I had them ship my GT from WA to SC. The pickup with nice and smooth. Upon delivery, the car was really dirty (I expected this) and there were scuffs in the paint on both the front and rear bumbers. I wasn't too concerned with the...

    Need HELP!! UCA install troubles

I found it to be a PITA, even with the car all the way up on the 4 point lift. As I recall, they had some ridiculously high running torque as well. How long of a ratchet or breaker bar are you using? I had to use a 24" one, which was the real pain with the limited space.

    Hood latch won't release

Well, guys, thanks for the encouragement but the problem sort of worked itself out. After a spirited jaunt to "slightly" above the posted speed limit, the hood popped up, I almost messed myself. I got it slowed down and pulled over to open the hood. After several opens and shuts, things seem...

    Hood latch won't release

I have the struts, but I haven't had any real problems shutting the hood. The last time I shut it, things didn't seem to odd other than it took me two attempts to get it to latch but now I am starting to wonder. I can see the mechanism through the grille, and can even touch it with my finger...
