    Trick Flow Lower Intake Problem

That's what I'll probably do. The pitting's not too bad, so a little bit in there should seal it up fine. Thanks for the help

    Trick Flow Lower Intake Problem

I took out my lower intake manifold because I thought the head gaskets were leaking: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=633833 I cleaned off the gaskets on the lower manifold and the 4 corner ports are pretty pitted. Do you think that it's safe to put the gaskets back on like...

    Head Gasket?

I do the oil changes myself and it's never had any indication of coolant in the oil. Even now there's no coolant in there. I only drove it around the block when it started smoking so hopefully it wasn't long enough to do anything. The gasket's pretty nasty though, so I don't know if just an...

    Head Gasket?

Well I took out the lower intake and here's what I found: And here's the intake: I thought it might be the head gasket, but now I'm wondering if the manifold gasket was causing it. The only spark plug that was wet was the #5 one, and that's about the only one where the intake manifold...

    Head Gasket?

I run 87 octane and the timing's set to the stock 10 deg. I was just driving normally when it started blowing white smoke out. It wasn't just a little bit, though, it was pouring out pretty good. I haven't run a compression test yet, so i'll try that and see what comes up.

    Head Gasket?

I was driving the other day and the car sputtered for a second and then ran great. It was fine for a couple of days and then started sputtering and missing pretty badly. I got it home and let cool down for a bit, and then took it around the block. About 1/4 mile down the road, it starts...

Installing Infinity Kappa 2-ways - ideas for xover mounting?

If you're not dead set on installing them in the doors, I removed the stock amp behind the head unit, and just mounted them on a plate that mounts where the amp was. I don't think I have a picture, but it's a pretty easy install.

    Emergency brake boot?

I have a leather one on mine, but I had mine made when I got a shifter boot made. If you're anywhere near Chicago, there's a sho p called "Riggs Brothers" that made mine for $45. Like mystery said, they melt little plastic tabs to hold it on. I melted them off, took the old boot off, cut...

    HELP- Vibration after Throwoutbearing replacement

Also, check your motor mounts. If they left the engine unsupported when they took out the trans, they could have stressed them a little.

Upgrading clutch and oil leaked from tranny...how do I add oil? + other ?'s

I just changed my stocker to the FMS HD too, about a week ago. The feel is nice, not much stiffer, if any, than stock. You'd be better off draining the oil when you change the rear main. If you have someone else to help you, you could always just lift the engine by hand from underneath, just...

95' Cobra Electrical problem. plz help.

It looks like you have a short to ground somewhere after the fuse. It sucks because the #8 fuse controls a lot of accessories. If you have an aftermarket head unit, check the power wire to it and make sure it's not grounding anywhere. I can't think why the door locks would make the parking...

    Amp Rack

I made up some plans for my '94 to go behind the rear seats with a plexi cover. I don't have them on this computer, but I can get them tomorrow for you. It's a .dwg file, but I can convert it to a .pdf if you want.

    2000 Mustang Rear Speaker Removal?

http://www.flemworld.com/Mach460/mach.html I know you don't have the Mach system, but they have a section on how to take the rear shelf cover off, which you'll need to do to take the rear speakers out. Then you'll need a 7/32" or something, can't remember, to take the speakers out.

    Krazy Kiley's "Situation"

You can fit the 6.5's in up front, you'll just have to either buy some adapters or make your own. The 6x9's, however will be a lot trickier, and it would either involve cutting up the rear deck or make a baffle and mount them from the bottom. Te salesman gave you the wrong information, and is...

    Bass without subs?!

Geez, guys. Free-air subs will work fine in the rear deck with modifications, but like he said, you have to seal the trunk from the cabin of the car, because the trunk is acting like the enclosure. You might not get the low-end you had before, though. As for mounting them, don't use plywood...
