You have to turn it till they do line up. I bet all 4 flywheels will work. Just get a flashlight and keep turning till you get it. I had the same problem at one time. It's even worse when you are trying to hold the flywheel up while under the car.

Yeah, I don't think the Gt rear springs were any different than the 4cyl. Why would they be they are not heavier in the rear. Go get some T-bird rear springs and cut a coil at least and then you can carry passenger's again.

You can cut the bottom off the back's they will sit just fine. I have done it to several. TC springs into the Mustang's, no more sagging rear for me they are much stiffer..
