One is for the egr (the back one)- on mine, the egr went in with no modifications. Its the pulse air fittings that are the culprits -and there is one on both sides, in the front. I suppose you could reshape the tubing instead of cutting and welding. Or, you could just delete the pulse air and...
I had bbk's on my 98 - we did have to modify them a bit. The pulse air fittings that attach to the headers are bent at the wrong angle. You have to cut them off, and re-weld them - then attach them with high temp hoses.

I was at 510rw with my d1sc - going lean at 5500. I know of a guy who was at 575ish with the same blower. The motors are pretty strong with a really good tune - but of course it is definately a game of russian roulette once you're over 450+

Knowing Ford, they probably dont want to sell any eec's because they think people will chip or flash them, then put their original computer back in when something goes wrong! :shrug:

For around $1500 :CAI, Catback Exhaust, pulley, Predator
440/460 - 480/490 depending on pulley selection .
Once that isnt enough, you can either do the apten Eaton port, or just ditch the eaton and go with the KB or Whipple for unlimited power
