    99-04 Dual piston calipers on a 94?

    I'd go for the cobra brakes as previously mentioned.The 99-04 brakes have a nasty habit of dragging bad on the rotor.I went with a set of 03 cobra brakes not for the stopping power but to simply lose the drag.With the stock brakes it took a bit of effort to spin the wheel,the cobra's are effortless!

    i don't have one of those trans' but i swear by a 4r70w!if it were me i'd make the swap.a local guy i know has been 5.80's with his lentech aod!i think if the converter is properly matched the car will be quicker!

    you must have the old long style water pump.if you ever have to replace the water pump just buy the newer one and then you can use all the steeda stuff.one thing i don't get is why your car would even have the old style pump.my 02 gt has an 11/01 build date and it came with the newer pump.i know...

    my 02 gt cut a 1.68 60' on a low 12.40 pass and still has stock axles.it only has a pi 3200 converter though and that was spraying a 125 shot out of the hole!

    effective changes?

    i made some changes to my converter lockup but they are only effective if i manually shift.if i leave it in drive they are no different.the changes were to lock the converter earlier in second gear at wot.

    for your info my pi converter was $719 shipped and installed by me.you obviously have no experience with a converter.my stall only improved my 60' 2 tenths,it improved my 1/8 mile 5 tenths and my 1/4 mile just over 6 tenths.by the way my trap speed also increased by 2 mph!!!!!!!!!also,go back...
