As the title says, I have 3/8" studs on my heads now and have a set of 7/16" roller rockers.
Can I run those rockers on that head, as long as the slot width on the rocker nut is the same. I can see the rocker shifting because it is bolted down and held up by the pushrod.
Bad idea? Good...
I ran two 10" subs in the spare tire well facing up and they sounded pretty bad. I took them out. I would think a rear facing sub box would do a bit better, but not much room will be left after leaving space for the top coming down.
3.73s in my car which is 5spd are great.
I would ask yourself what kind of driving you will be doing? If you are driving in city streets with lots of lights and such, the higher gears, you will be shifting a lot. Not that that is bad, just a pita sometimes.
I have 3.73s and love em.
Although mine isn't functional as "ram air", IMO it's way more functional in keeping the underhood temps down. It really cools nice when you are driving with some speed. Anybody else notice this?
Craftsman, warranty is super easy.
Better to have a reliable tool then have to run to the store in the middle of a job. Nothing more frustrating than breaking something.
Thanks for the input thumper...appreciate it.
The heads goin on it are TFS TW's, I think I'll do the timing chain while I'm in there. The rings can wait til the winter :nonono:
