You can but there are the plastic tabs/holes where the headrests go that will still be there. You could have them recovered without the headrests though if you wanted that look full time.

I shopped around for these seats for quite a while, and you won't find a cheaper and easier place than Summit.

I thought it was strange that the end bolt was different. I'll pull it out as well as the one next to it and compare sizes. Unfortunately I don't have any ATF to test it out, but at least I can tell where the leak is. Can I get a new bolt and reuse the old gasket, or do I need a new gasket once...

I picked up a set of Konis and a set of Opentracker's roller spring perches, but I want to get an idea of what each one adds to the suspension, so I want to install them one at a time and get a seat of the pants feel after each step. Which one should I install first? Thanks.

It's reading right at about 13.5 volts. I'm wondering what the voltage for the connections are supposed to be. There is a wire that tells the alt when to turn on and I'm wondering if it has the proper voltage. Also, is there any way to tell if a tensioner has gone bad?

Update: So I took it to a shop and had them give me a second opinion. The belt is slipping on the alternator, which is making the screeching sounds. Soo... why is it slipping is my new problem. The tensioner was a little sticky, so we lubed it up but that didn't seem to effect anything...

Nope, I'm pretty sure it's coming from the valve cover. I'm going to be checking and probably replacing the lifters on Monday, so can anyone tell me what I'm looking for to tell if it is in fact the lifters that have gone bad?

They're roller rockers, it's a stock 95GT 302.

So I've been doing some more reading and was wondering, if the noise seems to be coming from one area, could this be caused by being low on oil, or would that cause a more universal noise? Also, is there any way to check for a bad lifter without pulling the intake and having a look? Thanks.
