I was going ~50 and got rear-ended by a mercedes doing 70+, the whiplash was so bad I found my glasses in the back seat afterwards. The next day, my neck hurt so bad I couldnt ride in a car. The stock mustang seats SUCK!

maybe a stupid question - could you even put a hood like that on a production car, seeing as how the washer fluid nozzles are on the hood???

That popping noise during downshifting is most likely un-burnt fuel in the exhaust system. Harmless for the most part, but it will be much more pronounced with the 4.10s because you will decelerate faster. I wouldnt worry too much about it, if there is something wrong with your gear install...

One of the only negatives that I can think of for aluminum is that it can warp easier if you neglect your car . . . like overheating it repeatedly or letting the coolant freeze. ummm, threads in aluminum will become stripped much easier. Aluminum is pretty much better in every way, better...

This may sound dumb, but does anyone know how big the gas tankS are on the 2005 Mustang? I've looked everywhere to no avail. I'm thinking that with the two tanks in front of the rear axle, 18 gal shouldnt be a problem. Does anyone else have any other info??? -Adam
