Edit: I'd go with the Mach set up and the "F" lowering springs. The Mach kit comes with sway bars, shocks/struts for around $299 (Bullitt kit has springs too and is $399). Since you want to lower it so much, you won't need the Bullitt springs. The Ford "F" lowering springs are about $210...

You could go with the Bullitt set up and throw in some Ford "F" lowering springs. That will get you close to 2". BTW, you know if you drop that much you will have to replace your caster/camber plates as well?

Bullitt also has a different suspension set up--different rate springs, rear and front sway bars and specially tuned shocks/struts. Sits about 3/4 of an inch lower than a GT.

Regardless of what others have said, count on at least 2 hours if this is your first time installing an "X" unless you are a trained mechanic (I'm not). Once you've done your first, it's much easier the second time (for whatever that's worth).

Buy a UPR CAI. IT's the same as the BBK, but cheaper. Don't know about fitiment differences, sorry.

Forgive me if this sounds obvious, but the Mach 460 has a setting for speed sensitive sound. IE, if it is set at it's highest setting, the volume will decrease dramatically with braking. Are you sure you don't have this feature turned on?
