    Stalling and eec power relay

Guys, my 2.3 turbo stang has been stalling while I am driving. The RPMs just drop immediately to zero, and after a few seconds, the engine starts again and all is well. Usually happens when car is hot. I have wiggled every connector I could find and could not get it to stall while doing so...

    Fuel pump access from trunk

Has anyone figured out a way to get to the fuel pump and wiring without having to drop the tank? Like cutting an access panel in the trunk or expanding the access hole that is there? How safe is it to make the access hole bigger in the trunk? I need to get at the connector but don't want to drop...

Common places for an oil leak?

If u just changed the valve cover gasket - that could be your prob too. The after market vc gaskets (rubber ones) will crack around the grommets if they are overtightened. Ford has a good replacement that won't crack and u can't overtighten it inadvertently. Part # F57Z6584-A. it's the best...

    Fuel Pump Replacement

Generally speaking, 1. Disconnect battery neg 2. Siphon out the gas until there is as little as possible in the tank. Getting the tank down with lots of gas in it is easy, but you'll be cursing when it comes time to put it back in place if u don't empty it. :) 3. I put a hyd jack under...

    bell and clutch cable question

Guys, I am trying to find out what is missing on the bell housing that the clutch cable gets hooked to. I have a 2.3 T5 tranny, bell, and stock speedo cable from an 87 mustang. The bellhousing is cable. Where the clutch cable hooks to the linkage, I have the dowel pin and cotter pin, but...

351 is right. I have both xmembers in front of me right now. The auto is single hump and the t5 is double hump. Rich

I agree, and put all the bolts you remove in labeled ziplock bags. They'll all look the same by the second or third day. :) Rich

    Turbo....swap

Ok, my swap costed me a little more but I got a warranty on the engine for 1 year which I was happy about. Picked up the engine from junkyarddog. I think that's the name of the place. It was about $500, complete pan to tb. My T5 was $35 from the j/y cause the a4ld was costing me a lot of...

    Need help with Gauges

Depends upon what you want to monitor. For safety sake, a lot of ppl with turbo 2.3's get an A/F guage though it is not that accurate without a an o2 sensor upgrade. The speedo is mechanical, I don't believe the 93 stang came with an electronic pickup for speedo, but you can confirm that...

    Clutch/Pressure Plate/Flywheel ?

Don't use the NA clutch in a turbo car even if u have the flywheel and clutch, they won't hold with boost. Get a clutch that is made for the turbo car.
