What are Fox Coupes going for these days?

That was exactly what I thought. I priced it very reasonably so that it would be an easy sell. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't being unreasonable.

What are Fox Coupes going for these days?

In my case clean means new paint (a decent job), a really nice new interior, and at least a couple of thousand in routine stuff like a rebuilt/serviced AC system, a stainless catback, new headlights, an Alpine radio, a new set of Tokico blues, new hoses, steering rack.....it's endless. I built...

Please help me identify my rear brake set up !

I don't believe that Ford has ever made a 4 lug disc conversion kit. There are 3 possibilities that I can think of: 1. It's from a T-Bird....I think that this is the case. 2. It's from a Cobra 3. Ford did put 4 wheel discs in a handfull of cars....super rare. I've only seen it once. If this...

    Drag Race High

I caught the first episode a month ago. I'm curious to see how fast those cars are.

    3.73 gears too much?

Should be perfect with an AOD.

Well, it finally happened, I bought a Chevy!

....no judgement here. I'm driving a Vette these days. In fact I just bought another 5.0 after not having a Mustang for a year or two.

    gt-40p worth the work?

You can get GT40Y heads pretty cheap new....like $700. I would save some money and wait. 94,000 mile heads will likely need to be freshened up and at a minimum you'll need valve springs and special headers. I think that only the relative cost is low. Down the road it will cost you more.

    drag radial questions...

I recommend the new style MT's or the M&H's. You can actually get a lot of miles out of them.

E-bay car I found, make me wonder!

Regardless of miles $5100 was a pretty penny for that car. It was pretty scurvy. If I had to guess it was really 145k. That's just my opinion though. Who am I to say?

    Is it worth it?

I'm picking it up on Thursday after work and it's 100 miles away. I'll post pics when I can. Unfortunately, I won't have time to take pics until maybe Sunday. My best friend is flying in on Thursday to help with the car and we have too much stuff planned. I won't be home to see the daylight! As...

Tremec TKO install issue ?? pics

My TKO600 required slight modification to the stock crossmember. A shop did the work so I'm not sure what had to be done.

    plugs

Most of us change our plugs way too often. Autolites are the way to go. If you car is stock with no power adder the Autolite 25 is perfect.

    FRPP or Melling Pump, Opinions

I would bet that the Ford unit is a melling. I can't see you going wrong with either. A high volume pump is always good. The jury is out on high pressure pumps...probably not a good idea for most applications...especially street use.

    Any "old" stangnetters left?

I come & go but I've been around a while I guess. I know Rob, GroverDill, and Mike Yount (the Volvo guy) have been around longer.

    Is it worth it?

Ford gave me the info on the block casting #'s. The tranny and rear do have tags but those are not hard to get. They are option specific and are common. Only the older blocks have a partial VIN. The roller blocks do not. The blocks may have some #'s on them but none of them have a partial VIN...

    Is it worth it?

The checks in the mail....literally. The guy told me that he wasn't really trying to sell the car aggressively but as it turns out he was. I still overpaid a little but considering what I got- it was well worth it to me. In fact, his parts bill on the car from the last 3 months was more than I...

Dreaded Oil Pan gasket replacement... Any Tips???

Get an engine hoist, lift the motor up as much as you can, pull the rack down, and then have at it. You could do it in a long afternoon.

ideal ride height for best handling? is lower always better?

Yes and no. If you are so low that it keeps your suspension from fully articulating [working] then yes, you can be too low. However, keep in mind that a lower car has a lower center of gravity and that's the advantage that lowering gives you. There's a whole lot more to this. I just wanted...

    rear suspension

Guys run low 9's without quads. Usually, if you are getting wheel hop after the install of good arms it's due to something amiss with the shock valving. Quads are worthless for anything but stock suspension. Hardcore roadracers don't use them either.
