    Hi everyone, as the title says I have a Steeda CAI for a 2011+ Mustang GT 5.0 automatic and will require a tune. It is the 95mm version (not the 101mm). The filter is original except it's not blue because I re-oiled it with K&N oil rather than the blue Steeda oil. $160 shipped (to the lower 48)...

    It was probably about 2 weeks after I got it that I noticed the bubbles. I guess since it took a while to notice, it's not too bad.

    I know it's still called a "bra" but have you considered a 3m clear bra? I haven't tried it myself yet but appartnely it's really popular. When I had my 370z, on the forums it was one of the first mods because you couldn't tell it was there and the Z's came with really "delicate" paint :nonono...

    Works now! Just wanted to post an update to the situation guys.... I messed with the firewall adjuster for a while the other day and I was able to get it into gear more often but still like 1 out of 20 :lol: So before setting up any appointments at shops... who wanted $150 to diagnose...

    I'll look that up, thanks for the heads up:rock: I keep reading that it isn't synchronized in the t-45 but is in the 3650....in anycase, does that mean that there is a chance it's possibly a cable problem or something other than the forks as mentioned above? :)

    Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to give that a shot tomorrow, can't hurt:) I'm always scared about stuff going in the trans since I put the longtubes on (5 years ago lol) If it has to come out again, there may be a t56 going in it's place:rlaugh:

    Yeah, pretty much the whole time I've had the car there would be random times that it wouldn't go in on the first try.... but never even close to this bad... I was thinking the clutch thing too...I did put on an steeda quadrant and firewall adjuster several months back, I guess it wouldn't...

    How hard is it to install springs?

    me and a buddy did mine in under 2 hours, it was our first time lowering a car too. If I had to do it again, could prolly shave about 20-30 mins off of that. We went by the MW instructions, easy stuff, just be careful, compressed springs aren't something to play with. :nice:
