I hate troubleshooting electrical problems, and it turned out to be more simple. Before breaking out my trusty multi-meter I swapped the bulbs to the opposite headlight assembly. Bulb was bad. Advance replaced the set and I'm in business. Thanks to all for the replies.

Uhhh....no. The top speed of the car is NOT goverened by the rev limiter. And......it's pretty stupid to deliberately over rev an engine. The '05 is goverend for speed AND rpm. I'm not fully informed on the gearing on the '05, but my guess is that in 5th one would hit the speed limiter...

Remorse? I sold my '03 with 36K on it and bought an '04. It's awesome to drive....can be gentle as a kitty around town, but when you hit the boost, watch out! It's the most fun I've had in the front seat of a car. You'll love it.

From what I've seen and read the HP is a bit higher than I would have expected, but only by 10-15 or so. The torque number looks low. I would have expected it to also be right at 400 or so, based on other dyno curves I've seen with the mods you listed. Still no slouch, though.... :D...

Oh, they sure are.....but only the 03's. The 04 Redfire coupes are the baddest of the bad. :D

Those are fake knock-off's, though. Can't tell if they actually come off or not (I suspect that they do), but they don't hold the wheel on the car as does a true knock-off. It's cosmetic only.

Well, you can.....if you want to drop the rear end out. :rolleyes: I put a Magnaflow on my '03 and loved it. When I sold it for the '04 I swapped it over to the new car. I tend to drive with my window down even in the summer heat 'cause I love the sound so much. Just crank up the AC. :p

Get the Cobra. You'll love it. I put 36K on an '03, sold it in March and bought an '04. Paid invoice for it, so the only thing the dealer put in his pocket was the holdback. If you can't get it for invoice or +1-2% over, head for the door and another dealer. I bet they won't let you get...

They already have a 400HP motor. The 03-04 Cobra will pull 365-380 HP at the wheels, bone stock. It's not 390HP, got to be ~430 or so. And....that may be a tough sell, now that they've opened the door to factory supercharging. It seems to me that a 400hp N/A car is going to be much harder...
