Well i've had the 5.0 for almost 10 years now so its not going anywhere. It has a few mods, but needs some tuning or something to get it running properly. Still to go is some brake and suspension upgrades, then paint and body work, then re-do the interior. After that i'm thinking some boost :)

My 2006 Redfire GT Here is my new 2006 and my 1988 GT. Picked it up about 3 weeks ago. The 2006 is a GT Premium with only the honey comb taillight panel insert added to the car. Picked it up with only 17,500 and paid 17,500 for it. Pretty sure got a good deal. Red leather 5speed car.

yeah if in the car the black stands out to much i'll paint it a different color. i'm happy with the way its turning out.

Here is the instrument cluster with the gauges mounted in it....apparently semi-gloss with a flash looks like hell so hopefully in person the black aluminum doesn't stand out this much. If it does i'll paint it a flat black. The backside of the gauges

yeah i'm painting it flat (maybe semi-gloss) which ever looks better and then probably some of the Ultra-lite series guages. i want them to stand out so when you look inside the car they are what you see

Alright guys, i my speedo started bouncing when i installed my TKO600 so i thought it would be cool to put in an after-market electric speedo and a new tach in the car. My idea was to use the factory cluster and existing temp, fuel, volt and oil guages and just insert some new autometer guages...

Alright guys i just installed a TKO600 in the stang and have noticed that when the car is in 5th gear, the shifter is really noisy. It has an MGW shifter in it which i thought were supposed to be quiet. Anybody have this tranny that is also noisy in fifth? It driving me nuts.

alright guys just bought a tko600 from a guy locally and was wanting to buy a new shifter. i was looking at the MGW because i wanted something with shift stops to avoid over throwing the shift forks. Upon reading tremecs site, they claim to have integrated shift stops and that to run...

i was wondering how many of these cars have the map light, mines burnt out too, but i've never cared to replace it. plus it just swings freely so its ghetto rigged up

i had a problem with my fms thermostat housing leaking as-well...solution, buy the billet specialties o-ringed one from summit. it is expensive at $100 but i haven't had a problem since....o-ring is way better than the gasket.

well thanks everybody...these are the first vids i've taken of the car and its helped to re-spark my interest in it. Nothing like being able to see and hear your car from the outside. makes you realize how nice it is and why i liked it to begin with.

i don't drive it enough to become comfortable letting it slide all around, especially when there is chrome rims and and alignment at stake with the curbs on either side. Also just converted to a stick so i'm still getting used to it. And as far as the red goes, i like being different from...

that sucks man...looked like that might have hurt a bit.

anybody happen to have a bulb number to replace the hazard one with. went to radio shack and didn't see anything. Also i ended up going to autozone and buying the $30 dollar headlamp switch.
