    Vacuum Pump Recommendations

Have a look at the volvo s40-s90 vacuum pumps. They're quieter and more compact than most aftermarket electrics, and they can also come with a tricky little vacuum swithc that integrates a checkvalve and T piece so that the engine pulls what vaccuum it can, and then the vacuum pump adds on top...

Low mount / stealth a/c installs

Do you happen to have any photos of these setups? Which march kit did they use? Or was it a customised version of an off the shelf march kit?

Anyone got a Mustangs to fear headliner for coupes?

Interested in seeing some installs, preferably not done by the vendor themselves. I like the idea of the removable headliner, dont particularly like the price but might be willing to pay it if it all looks worthwhile.

Low mount / stealth a/c installs

I'm planning to install a/c in my 68. It originally had a/c but at some point a PO ditched everything from the firewall forward, so I only have whats in the cabin left. I am wanting to install the compressor (and ideally condensor etc) in such a way as not to clutter up the engine bay like...

    Best Octane for Edelbrock?

I find it interesting that you guys have such low octane fuels. 91 octane here is regarded as very low. We have 98 octane for all the sport/euro cars. Anyway as the guys say, run what you have been running and retune if necessary. The carb shouldnt dictate the fuel used.

Anyone planning on dropping the new 5.0 into a classic?

The new 5.0 motor is supposed to be a lot narrower than the old 4.6/5.4's

    Resto Mod Question

    1. Chassis/body work (including extra reinforcement) 2. Suspension/brakes/steering 3. Drivetrain 4. Interior. If you can do it all at once, thats even beter, as you wont have to do several things twice (like pulling the motor/suspension)

    302 heads

If you need to recondition the heads, I would get a quote/price before doing anything. It is likely to cost you a good portion of what a set of brand new aftermarket heads would cost.

Anyone have a 67-68 Mustang with a Ford Big Block?

How is your driveline angle? That motor looks kind of pitched up in one direction.

    Carburetor, Edelbrock

I've had my edelbrock for about 8 years now. I have never had to touch it outside of when I have totally changed the engine and needed to re-tune. No leaks, no mess, no fuss - it just plain works. Makes decent power as well as far as I can tell. Havent done a back to back to compare with a...

new 331 build need some help with cam selection.

I think the 331 might be pushing it to hit 500hp unless youre talking fwhp and not rwhp, or unless everything in the combo matches perfectly. Youre certainly starting in a good place going with the dart block though - at least you wont have to worry about it all flying apart.
