    $$ Questions on my engine

I don't take it personally........but I couldn't disagree more......Iam doing it as a favor to the buyer as well.......What would YOU pay for a motor sitting on a garage floor? I probably wouldn't pay over $1000 and that's ONLY cause it has alloy heads AND I wouldn't necessarily be comfortable...

    $$ Questions on my engine

No it's a solid lifter motor....but Yes, that's the plan....sell it complete......the new motor is already complete, tuned and ready to drop in....ideally I want someone to look at it and then I can have my mechanic pull it and someone could pick it up......I figure that's the best way to buy a...

    $$ Questions on my engine

So I've been off the list for over a year......Bought a Porsche and playing with that sucked up most of my time and mod money lately......set the Mustang aside for a while....but now I'm back and I am finally motivated to pull my Mustang out of storage and finish it......all that's left is...

Hi I'm new here with a small problem

It's all stock stuff. When I bought the car it was beat up and primer grey...ripped up interior etc. First thing I did was to have the motor rebuilt by a local builder called "Engine Supply" here in Santa Ana. He has a great rep and had done a motor for me about 10 years ago. As I recall it was...

Hi I'm new here with a small problem

Well, when you get ready, look me up. I am in Santa Ana, not far from you at all. I will be pulling my 302 out in a month or so, to install my 427 Stroker. The 302 was FULLY rebuilt less than 2500 miles ago. (which was 2 years ago.....it's been a long restoration.........) All receipts and...

    Lets talk about Master-Cylinders

Well, although I don't have a lot to compare it too, I LOVE the JMC setup in my mustang. The brakes ARE firm, but not overly so in my opinion......but then I never had it with the stock brakes so....take it for what it's worth..... Chris Barton

    408W GForce 600HP T-5

Yeah, it's more than I'd want to do.........but when I add it up, it's still cheaper to buy the tko, bell housing, new clutch assembly and have pros cut the floor than to buy the equilivant GForce trans.......

    408W GForce 600HP T-5

Yeah, always good to hear from someone nearby, it's a 65. And yes you are looking at 1-2". I don't expect it to really be hardly noticeable. The shop that is going to do it is JMC in san diego. They did my big brake package last year and have a pretty good reputation. They are 100 miles away so...

    408W GForce 600HP T-5

Modify the trans tunnel. I have spent the last couple of weeks and I just spent the entire morning today mulling over this exact same decision myself. I have spoken to Gforce, D&D automotive (Tremec Dealer), Richmond, 2 or 3 times each and today I decided to go with and ordered the TKO 600...

Don't know if they have improved or I was lucky, but my experience with them was great. Service was good and the panhard set up I bought was exactly as advertised. Chris Barton

    Lemme tell you y'all a story about 275 40 17s & 65 mustangs...complete with many pics

Uhhhh, be careful there......out here in CA we used to have a track at Terminal Island in LA. Right about 3/4 track there WAS a little bump in the track.....not that you'd hardly notice in most of the cars there, but the 11-12 second cars it was pretty noticeable and the 9 and 10 second guys it...

Another good source for Roller Spring Perches.....

Uh....Bull****....Nobody took your comment wrong. It was taken at face value and nothing less. Your comment WAS insulting to John. Don't apologize and then insult OUR collective intelligence by stating that everyone who called you on it was WRONG because we didn't read your comment...

Another good source for Roller Spring Perches.....

Agreed. I will also attest to the quality of Johns work. COULDN'T have been done better by the LARGEST machine shop. It's not rocket science. It's cutting and welding and the quality of the welds is terrific. And I HAVE seen shoddy work from "Real" machine shops many times in the past. So...
