    best leather products?

Lexol makes a really good leather conditioner. When you condition the seats it helps to warm them up. You can use a hair dryer. When leather warms it expands, thus opening the pores. When the pores open the conditioner can enter the leather better, and do its job. Don't overheat the seats, just...

    Problem's Drying car

The California water blade works well. I usually get most of the water off with it, and then dry the remaining drops with an Absorber, which you can buy at most auto parts stores.

HELP - Paint chipping on new paint job (PICS)

Your door definitely needs repainting. As many have already said the prep work was obviously horrible. The door should have been sanded, primered, smoothed, and then painted. This obviously didn't happen. The touch up idea that was mentioned won't really work. First of all the touch up paint is...

    got it primed.... now what?

I usually use Malco True Grit as a buffing agent. 3M also makes some good agents. After I wetsand the new clear with 1500 I use the True Grit to remove the sand scratches, and then remove any swirls with Meguairs swirl remover. If you want to add another layer of clear skip the swirl remover...

    got it primed.... now what?

In regards to your theory on clear, the answer is yes and no. An excellent paint job can be obtained by starting with a factory job. First the paint should be wetsanded with 600 grit sandpaper. Of course you must take extra care not to remove the basecoat, especially on the edges. Then shoot a...

    got it primed.... now what?

Wetsanding the primer is how I was taught to paint, and have never had any problems using this method. Of course you want the primer to dry between coats, and then be fully dry after wetsanding before adding the basecoat. I couldn't see the picture of your hood, so I can't really say what it...

    Cleaning parts in engine compartment

wd-40 is an excellent cleaner for these parts and will not cut paint. Just spray it down with water when you're though. 0000 steel wool will also clean those parts quite well after you've removed the grease and grime.

    got it primed.... now what?

Make sure you have enough primer on the hood. You definitely have to wetsand the primer with 600 grit sandpaper before spraying the basecoat. Wetsand it until the primer is smooth. Clean the primer with a good low voc surface cleaner and a tac cloth after it has been wetsanded. Spray two wet...

    Interior painting/dying

The best interior dye is made by SEM. You can usually find SEM dyes at your local auto-body supply house. I am in the automobile reconditioning business, and use their products daily. You need to clean the pieces with their plastic/leather prep first using a lint free cloth. The best method...

Bullitt Intake and throttle body - sell or keep

Well, since its a Bullit I would probably keep my original equipment, especially if you don't need the money from the sale. You just never know what you will want to do in the future.

Check out CJ Pony parts if you go with the eibach springs http://www.cjponyparts.com/ They sell the Pro-Kit(about a 1.5 inch drop) for $189 which was the best price I could find. I also have the MM full length sub frames and have been very happy with them.
