    Gas Prices

If we want cheaper gas, we need to drive smaller cars. If we want affordable health care, we need to lead healthier lives. Bless your little hearts for thinking the Federal Government can solve anything. You are your own responsibility. Pay your way through life.

    2009 Mustang VS 2010 Mustang

Not everyone is so thrilled with the retro look, although you wouldn't ever know it here. It's ok with a good body kit, but is actually rather plain in v6 form. The geesers got their thrill, but it's time to use some imagination.

Uh oh, the 'Stang is going to have competition from Hyundai now too!

The more competition the better, at least for the consumer.

    S197 vs previous years

Well the V6 is only .6L smaller in displacement than the V8, and that's with 2 less cylinders. It's a big V6. However, it's actually a fairly primitive V6 compared to most sport cars these days. The 350Z engine gets about the same milage with another 100 horses.

    Should i go get a 07 Gt?

No, better to get a Porsche.

    HorsePower

Like it's any great feat to just keep upping the displacement. I love muscle cars too but at $3 plus for a gallon of fuel, I also want efficiency. The only way fuel prices are ever going to come down is if we stop driving mountains of metal with huge engines.

Anyone Ever Buy A Lemon Return?

This is not the way to save a buck.

Rear end whining and clunking problems AGAIN

Now that's loyalty. Most people would probably steer clear of Ford altogether after getting a lemon. But I guess now you want a pumpkin.

    Ford to report record losses?

If they can't get better control of their dealers, they're done. The markups have got to stop. The GT500, Bullitt, Boss, etc...no common man is ever going to see one of these in their garage, that is, unless they want to retire when they're 80.

Trying to purchase a GT500 for MSRP

Anyone that can spend 45K on a car can probably afford the extra 20K. However, those will a little sense realize the GT500 is just not 20K better than a Vette. In fact, it probably should be 5K cheaper than a Vette to be competetive in terms of capability. Best bet, achieve a little less envy...

    GT-H on ebay

Looks like someone thought this was a GT500.

    New stang?

Go for it if you can handle the looks. Personally, without a good body kit and some stripes, I don't think they look that great. Certainly, it's a dramatic departure from the 99-04 which had more of a race car look. As far as functionality, the new model is definately going to be more...

02 SS vs 07 GT- which would you buy?

The Mustang has all the advantages that much newer technology brings. The Camaro wasn't even good quality for its time. Personally, neither one fits my personality in the looks department, but the Mustang is clearly the superior car so I would choose it on that.

    Shelby GT500 sucks !

Obviously the GT500 is a nice car. But at 45K it is in the price category of the base Corvette which is clearly a better all around sports car. Mustangs have always been a fast car for the common man. The GT500 is just another super car for the rich.

    Shelby GT500 sucks !

Add me to the list of people that would prefer the Vette hands down. The Shelby is just a souped up 15 thousand dollar car.

How much should I pay for an 06 GT?

Wow, people are still paying over MSRP? In So Cal I could have gotten one at MSRP even when they were the hottest thing. Now that demand has cooled and gas prices are rediculous I would think deals can definately be had. Don't be afraid to stray from your local area though.

great pic of me racing with new eibach springs

Looks fantastic with the 265s, but I would like to know about the added road noise. The tires on my 01 Stang which are 245s make alot of road noise which is dislike.

thinking of trading my car in

There going to give you 17K for a banged up V6?
