    rebuild the window motor. It has urethane pieces inside it that fall apart. Pull the motor take it apart and rebuild it, the pieces are like 3$ and located in the help isle in autozone usually. Jason

    yeah, if you had posted up i would have told you that. The extension housing only has a recess for the pin to come through in neutral. Putting the synchros and detent rings in the first time is a tricky process..... glad it is working out for you.... once you have done it a couple times it...

    I know this stuff's frustrating, i chased a vibration for 1 year. with the combination of mounts, no dogbone, dynamic balanced driveshaft, etc. etc. all at once it finally went away.......... I am sure you have went and have the balance and alignment of the tires checked right? jason

    Just means his trans has been replaced before. I believe the TQ rating is 330 lb ft, the HP number isn't as important. Torque breaks stuff. jason

    no the reg. style won't work you can go to a bearing shop and they can match it up. You either have a cobra t-5 or one of the t-5z's Is your car a cobra jason

    if you could take a picture of the input shaft i can tell you if its a cobra t-5, the imput shaft should have what looks like a bearing cup made into it. if you have fibre lined synchros it's a pretty safe bet that ist is a WC jason

    I don't know if it is possible to do that. But i believe if springs are stronger the worst case scenario is faster wear on the cam, lifters, and valves. I hope you get it figured out. When you do let us know what the culprit turned out to be. jason

    if they are steel, i would bet maximum motorsports. Figure out the brand, and then you should be able to get a bushing kit etc. for that brand from the manufacturer. That is what i had to do with my kenny Browns. jason
