I say go for the MACs. I use to have the Flowmasters, Bassani, etc Flowpaths with h-pipe sound good in my book.

It is not worth the work. The crossover section is going to hang to low I believe if you get it to work with the automatic. I think this is why it is taking a long time for Dr. Gas to come out with a x-pipe for the autos. Maybe they have already developed one, but as of last year there were...

I never recieved an engine light with my intake install.

Definetly do the vinyl strip. I have it on mine for the past 3 years without any problems.

Eibach Sportlines, front 1/3 coil cut, all insolators in.

The exhaust will fit. I had a Bassani exhaust kit for a 99 and newer on mine. I believe the stinger kit comes with the 4" tips. I do not know how that will look on a 98 Mustang that does not come with bumper cutouts for the exhaust. On the 98 you will see the exhaust flare from 2.5" to 4"...

This roughly all I have for now. I got the wheels from MustangTuning.com a few weeks ago. The rear tires are alittle small (275/40), but it is what I had at the time.

Hey what's up mineralgray? I would say is to get the gears (4.10s), along with a shifter. That will be your best bet there. After that you can do exhaust, intake and such. It is pretty much up to you on how you want to mod it. Everybody has their opinions.

Same here. I just drilled and cut to bolt the bracket on. I will still get a new bracket to replace it.

I didn't think the VT cams will work with the NPI heads.

I believe Ford sells a 170 or 190 size pump for the 98s.

The 98 Mustang uses the 99 hangers for the exhaust. I ended up putting on 96-97 tailpipes with new hangers for 96-97. The hangers only cost about $20 for the pair and screw right into the factory holes in the frame. Also the 98 uses a screwed up fuel system.

I would definetly get a PI motor in replace of the old NPI.
