    temepature inside of the cabin

See the way I look at temps is kind of like how I look at speed. The temp gauge hitting 100 degrees is kind of like going past the 200 mph mark on the speedo. After that point the numbers become exponentially harder to keep surpassing themselves.

    temepature inside of the cabin

Not a prob. I thought I'd post this after having had two different people recently comment to me about the heat inside of this car. 122 degrees seems awfully ridiculous. What if it gets to be 110 outside??! What on earth will I do then besides turning on the a/c and taking the 20% hit or...

    temepature inside of the cabin

Down here in Dallas, Texas it's 96 degrees outside today. I was curious to see how hot it would be inside of the car so I took along with me a pretty accurate small digital thermometer on a drive in and around North Dallas starting at approximately 3:30 in the afternoon. All sun and not a whole...

    Oil Catch Tank

I've had that hole on the intake tube plugged before. I have an Escort G-Timer (GT2) and the 0-60 mph results were the exact same regardless of having the breather on and the hole or having it capped off. On two launches with basically no spin (just a slight chirp both times) on the same...

    Oil Catch Tank

Passenger's side is where the catch can goes. A breather goes onto the driver's side cam cover. Here's a pic of my engine for reference...

What kind/weight oil comes in a T-45 stock??

Drained out the GM Syncromesh this morning and replaced it with three quarts of cheap Wal-Mart Mercon ATF mixed w/ three fluid ounces of GM Syncromesh. I also put the Pro 5.0 back on while I was at it. Just got back from taking the Stang out for a spin to warm everything up and mix up those two...

What kind/weight oil comes in a T-45 stock??

I've already put in GM Syncromesh and now I have a NASTY grind shifting into second. Put the stock shifter back on and no difference. Only things I did were put a Pro 5.0 on and replace the tranny fluid (with GM syncromesh) The car has had a 1-2 grind for a while although only when cold, but...

    quick Pro 5.0 question

My car is a 2000 with a T-45. The TSB IIRC is for the '01 and up's with the 3350 in them.

    quick Pro 5.0 question

I'm gonna try changing the fluid once again to some *Thick*, non-synthetic, cheap-a$$ Wal-Mart S***t.. see how that goes and then go from there.

    quick Pro 5.0 question

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMNNNNNNN!!!!! I just put the stock shifter back on and took the car out for a test drive. The 1-2 grind is still happening!!!!!!! :bang: :( So that rules out the shifter right there. Now the culprit I suspect is the GM Syncromesh transmission fluid change I did along...

    quick Pro 5.0 question

Well I took the car out for a spin this morning before work with the stock shifter handle attached to the Pro 5.0 and low and behold... the 1-2 gring is still there F@#$in' A DAMMIT!!! 1-2 Syncro is pretty bad off I guess. Stock shifter goes back on tonight,:nonono: so we'll see what...

    quick Pro 5.0 question

Only problem with the Pro 5.0 is that my T45 has a 1-2 shift grind sometimes, especially when the motor/tranny is still cold. The handle that came with the Pro 5.0 is short as all f***k. So whenever I shift moderately fast above 3000 rpm I get a nasty grind going into second now. So last night I...

    catch can installed!

It is. I was looking for a mini-sized one at the Home Depot but couldn't find any. The larger one was around twenty bucks. It fits tightly in between these two radiator hoses (I think - they get really hot) in the back there. I also bought a shut-off valve too because it looks kinda cool IMO...
