    Electric fuel pump

I ran my lines for a mechanical fuel pump before I realized that my crate motor was not set up for mechanical. Will my 3/8" lines with the short clamped rubber hoses (tank to pump, line to carb) handle the extra pressure (14psi)?

    Headliners bows

Headliner bows I've had my 67 fB apart too long. Maybe someone can help me. The three headliner bows: I have two retainer wire rods about 8" long that clip to the roof structure and to the rear bow to hold it in place. Are there any wire rods, etc that keep the other two in place, or does...

Who doesnt run a front Swap bar with a MII setup?

I've got the set-up, just don't have the car on the road yet. I'm planning on installing one though. It has to help on the turns.

    alternator question

If you're talking about using a single wire alternator, it's my understanding that this does away with the regulator. It's done all the time. I'm currently re-wiring my 67 with a Painless Kit, single wire alt. and a MSN ignition.

Putting a modern E-brake handle in a classic Mustan

I had planned on a Lokar, but this is a better way to save some $. I have 4-wheel disc, but plan to use a driveline E-Brake. That way I don't have to worry about getting all the parts for the disc and only have to run one cable.

    fog lights

Fog light pics I'll contact you off line. My home computer is so lame won't handle sending pics. I'll send them from work.

    fog lights

87-93 GT lights I'm using 87-93 GT lights from Mustangs Plus in the R valance of my 67 FB. I made a bracket that bolts onto the hood support to mount them to. I think it looks real good. The best thing is that the mounting bolt on the lights is at the rear of the light and is adjustable...

    Mirror ideas for my 67

I picked a couple of 76 Granada sport mirrors for my 67 FB Restorod, painted them the same as the body and I think they look great! They're both remote too!

    how sad is this picture

Next door Reminds me of the blue 67 I have next door to me just sitting in the AZ sun on his dirt acre while the owner thinks, "maybe someday". Only the one next door doesn't have near the dents as the print. The only redeeming quality of the situation is that I can go over there and look...

    Stainless moulding

Amen, it's crap. I'm looking for original windshield and trunk lid moulding. The finish doesn't matter as long as it's not dented. I've converted all my stainless to satin black. Looks great, but the media blaster got a little over-zealous on some of the pieces I'm now looking for, and...

    Stainless moulding

Has anyone found a vendor that makes a good quality stainless trim? I've ordered 2 trunk lid trims from NPD (who I have had a great past with) for my 67 FB and neither one fits. And yes, I did order for the FB, not for the conv or coupe. If one side fits, the other side sticks up almost 1/4...

    69 tank in a 67

Thanks Thanks for the input. The tank had already been installed, I just needed to get the filler attached. I didn't think about bending the tank neck. I guess I thought that it might break the weld. I'm going to find a pipe a little smaller than the neck and give the "broomstick" method a...

    69 tank in a 67

Have any of you put a 69 gas tank in your 67 or 68? I was told that they bolt right in, which they do, but what do you have to do to make a connection between the filler tube and the tank inlet? There is a very big offset. I cut the tube about 2" shorter and that doesn't help. The problem...

    Tremec TKO capacity

Thanks Thanks for the info. I knew to fill it until it was full, but I needed to know how many bottles of Royal Purple to buy in advance. Thanks again!

    Tire sizing (again)

Thanks for the info. We may just START with 275's to see if they fit!

    Tire sizing (again)

Wow, the largest I've seen recommended is 245's with a 4.5 bs. Yeah, you're right, the mods will make a difference. I've got so many different types of car parts in this Mustang, it's unreal. Well, at least it will be a one of a kind! I was always told that once a tire is mounted at a tire...

    Tire sizing (again)

I'm sorry, I meant to ask what size tire, not wheel. I'll probably have to tow it down to a tire dealer that has the measuring tools to calculate the tire, based on the wheel choice and the space available.

    Tire sizing (again)

I noticed that Halibrand Engineering recommends a 4.50 backspacing on a 17 X 8 wheel on my '67. Unfortunately I didn't see that chart until after I bought mine with 4.75 bs. Do any of you have 17X8's with 4.75 bs, and if so, what size wheel do you run? To complicate things even more, I have...

    Neutral safety switch

I'm putting a Tremec TKO in my 67 FB. Can someone tell me what I need to do for a neutral safety switch and back-up lights? Thanks
