Doesnt Saleen also add those 20 inch wheels, suspension work(springs and better sway bars) and some extra interior parts. Plus it is somewhat more of a limited car compared to a car that just adds aftermarket kits. I do see your point but I would rather buy the Saleen and be done with it...

The S281-E will get the forged internals while the S281 SC will still be a stock engine with a blower slapped on it. The difference between the non SC and the SC version is about 6K so I doubt that will include forged internals.
