    That's low. You should never adjust the throttle body stop. You need to adjust the TPS on the throttle body. Try to put the TB stop back where it was. Then adjust the tps by loosening the two screws and turning it clockwise until it reaches higher than 0.98 but less than 1.0 volts.

    Are the 94-98 hoods metal? Mine is fiberglass, and I've had the blanket off for years, even with the hot ass eaton I've had no problems with the paint.

    If you can datalog with it you should be able to. I don't have an xcal but when I check mine, I turn the key on with the engine off and just log the tps from inside the car.

    Gap shouldn't be the problem. You aren't making enough power to worry about spark blowout. I gap mine at .45. If you put the TB on at the same time check for vacuum leaks especially around the throttle body, and also check the voltage on the tps sensor. It should be around 0.98

    They use ford casting to start with, so I'm sure they have the same amount as stock PI heads, but I've seen at least one case where they helicoiled the threads before shipping. If done correctly that would be a good thing.

    What is needed to block off EGR?

    Keep in mind that you MPG is going to take a hit, and you do need to be able to turn it off in the computer, so figure that into the cost. I've got mine deleted because stock tube won't work with my supercharger. If I can find a way to replace it I'm going to put mine back on.
