    its a 2000 and im not doing the 4.6 im doing the 5.4. i found a wrecked 02 navigator that got tboned and like ripped in half for $1300. is it even possible to swap a 5.0 in this car? has anyone ever seen a 1999+ mustang with a 5.0?

    they arent really numbers though, its just a bunch of the little bars that make up the numbers... and it only flashes once real quick then it goes normal and all the guages power up.

    Gas guzzler

    damnit, my car is getting like 10-12 mpg. there is definitly something wrong with that. whats u guys's average mpg? ive changed my fuel filter, my air filter, and changed the oil. any suggestions? btw the car has 42,000 miles on it

    squeak!!!

    nope i figured it out today, its my brakes, their shot and somethings whakced on them, i think u guys misunderstood my squeak, its definitly not the body, it was in the suspension or the brakes.

    anyone else hear have a squeak somewhere in the front driver side that is related to speed? i.e. it squeaks more the faster you go, butdisappears after about 30 mph.

    dude im just warning you, rearends are a real precise assembly, if u just pull everything out and then just slap it back in and dont know about setting the wear patten and backlash and all that other stuff, its gonna blow like real quick

    those bolts should be torqued down, so use an impact wrench to get them off. btw, are you rebuilding this rearend? bcuz theres alot of real precise clearances and stuff that you need special tools to get correct or else the rear will fail real quick.

    its definitly wayy too much effort to be normal, i'll check out the bearings but i can see the pads contacting the rotors, and yes it affects both wheels but the driver side wheel seems to be a little worse ?

    dont u get a smell when the car is stopped and you have norm ac on or the heater? or dont your valve covers get covered w/ oil?

    nope, pedel feel is all good, its just that they stick slightly, just enough that like i said, if i put my car up on jacks, it is quite hard to rotate the front wheels.

    umm yea, it would cause puddling, if there was any fuel in the intake on a ford 3.8. dude, the injectors are in the head go look at your motor right now. there is never any fuel in any of the intake runners. in a carburated motor, i would definitly say leave the walls rough cast, becuase it...

    dude the reason why you have a noticeable decrease4 in acceleration is that the bigger wheels change your final gear ratio.
